Dr. David Chu is a fantastic Ophthalmologist and I would highly recommend seeking treatment at a location in which he practices. I appreciate his high level of expertise, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness when it comes to the patient/doctor relationship. This culture is also evident in my interactions with his staff at the clinics in which he practices. One of the very best in healthcare!
I’m not sure I mean I went there for an eye problem. They confirmed that what I went there for no longer existed, but I’m still having problems with my eyes so I feel like I wasted my co-pay and my time it’s the type of place where they try to upsell you on procedures that are not covered by insurance so you be the judge I’m going back to my old doctor in New York City it’s worth my trouble to commute in. This is an update. Went to my doctor in Manhattan today who diagnosed me and gave me three prescriptions unlike Dr. Yu who told me to buy refresh eye drops which burned my eyes. I will never go back to this place. They just I don’t even know if they’re real eye doctors.
Friendly, competent and very clean environment. Dr. David CHU performed DEMK on both my eyes three years ago. That’s a partial corneal transplant. It corrected my Fuchs’s corneal dystrophy, preventing me from becoming blind. It was very successful. I will be forever grateful to him and to the kind person who donated their corneas. Dr. CHU continues to be my specialist, and I look forward to his continued care. All the support staff are wonderful.
Went in due to pickleball eye injury. Dr Gee Hyun Chun was excellent. Eye injuries are scary but her manners and communication immediately put me at ease. She explained everything very clearly and made me feel comfortable during the entire appointment. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and well organized considering the amount of patients there.
I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Yu. Went in for my dad’s eye issue. She was professional, explained things clearly in plain language so my dad and I can easily understand the diagnosis and most of all she was very nice. I felt like my dad is in good hand with Dr. Yu’s care now. The whole hospital staff is extremely nice and they speak Korean. Thank you everyone !
