Excruciating pain led me to the Emergency room. Might be weird to say but my experience was good. As soon as I got called in, patient professionals took care of me nicely. Took some time to leave, but have to consider they have many patients, have to wait for results etc. Special shout out for Shalom Korn making me feel comfortable, cared for, I kept him a bit busy he dealt with it professionally. Doctor, nurse who took blood few times, and all who cared for me, Thank you ! JC

I had surgery at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center and I truly had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease during what could have been a very stressful time. Dr. Gregory Charak and his entire team were exceptional. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident before the procedure. I also want to give a special thank you to Ana the nurse, as well as Oscar, Raphael, Anthony, Jocelyn, and Jaqueline. Every single team member was kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. They constantly checked in on me, made sure I was comfortable, and created such a supportive and reassuring environment throughout my stay. The level of professionalism and care I received truly meant so much to me. I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing team and highly recommend this medical center to anyone needing surgery or medical care.

I recently underwent a procedure with Dr. Chang through the Same Day Surgery Department, and I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care I received. The nurses in Same Day Surgery were truly outstanding — attentive, compassionate, and professional throughout the entire experience. The administrative team, including the Director, took the time to round and ensure everything was going smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. The Same Day Surgery Manager was also present and attentive, demonstrating strong leadership and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. Their kindness and courtesy did not go unnoticed. The OR team was equally impressive, demonstrating efficiency, professionalism, and teamwork. The OR Manager was present and supportive, contributing to a smooth and reassuring environment. The anesthesia team was knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns, especially Dr. Landauer and Ronny, who took the time to ensure I felt comfortable and informed. Most importantly, I would like to commend Dr. Chang for being an exceptional urologist — caring, highly skilled, and thorough. His expertise and bedside manner made a significant difference in my experience. I would also like to thank the leadership across all departments for fostering such a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassion. It is rare nowadays to encounter this level of coordinated, kind, and truly helpful patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Chang, as well as the Same Day Surgery and OR departments; for their outstanding professionalism and dedication to patient care.

On February 5, 2025, we were incredibly grateful for the care my dad received from the entire team at Palisades Hospital’s emergency room. From the moment we arrived—starting with the front desk and security—everyone was kind, welcoming, and reassuring during a very stressful time. Once my dad was settled in room 506 on the 5th floor, Dr. Chang, the urologist who was called in, made an immediate difference. After what must have been a long day, he remained calm, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue in about 20 minutes, and his confidence and bedside manner immediately put us at ease. Dr. Chang is exactly the kind of physician you hope for in an emergency—kind, skilled, and genuinely caring. Floor nurse Frida helped my dad get settled and started his treatment with so much patience and warmth. She treated him as if he were her own father, with a gentle, calming presence and the utmost respect. Later, floor nurse Dwayne took over for the night and checked on him every 30 minutes to an hour, making sure he was comfortable, his needs were met, and that his treatment continued smoothly. We are deeply grateful to Nurse Frida and Nurse Dwayne for their attentiveness, compassion, and support—and especially to Dr. Chang, whose care truly made all the difference.

On December 22, 2025, I was brought to the hospital by ambulance with severe lower abdominal and back pain. From arrival, I received prompt and attentive care. I was fortunate to have an amazing nurse named Jailene M. who came in and started my IV effortlessly she found my vein immediately, and you could truly tell she knew exactly what she was doing she was so welcoming and kind. shortly after Dr. Schreiber came in and was compassionate, thorough, and quickly assessed my condition. He provided pain management and ordered an MRI to confirm the diagnosis. Best Doctor I have encountered in this hospital! During my wait, I had the pleasure to be attended by Nurse Ivis G. Which ensured I was comfortable and well cared for she was wonderful.Despite the pain I was experiencing, the team made my visit to Palisades Hospital a positive one. I was discharged pain free and well informed about my diagnosis of a kidney stone. I am very grateful for their professionalism and excellent care. The Hospital has definitely upgraded not just their Facility but their staff as well because it’s so welcoming now.
