I went for a colonoscopy today and Dr Bouchard is the best! He makes you feel comfortable and explains everything throughly. As far as the staff, nurses and anesthesiologist, they were all very nice and also made you feel comfortable. Thanks to all!
Exceptional doctors, nurses and staff. Easy and painless experience and all the necessary information and documentation, along with a follow up plan was provided before leaving. Highest recommendation for this medical practice and facility.
I had my second procedure within a year at Hamilton Endoscopy & Surgery. Relatively small procedures, but I tend to get VERY nervous before any kind of medical procedure. The staff were fantastic from front to back & truly calmed my nerves. Everyone from the folks at the front desk to the nurses dr’s & anesthesiologist were just wonderful. And to finish everything off, all paperwork was handled without a bit of action by me. Thank you for taking what is normally a nerve wracking experience for me & making it as close to a pleasure as could be expected!
Front desk staff is very abrupt and rude. I will be contacting the office manager to discuss. My husband had a procedure today and said the "back room staff" was courteous and professional. He also loves the doctor so for that reason I'll give it 3 stars. The front desk needs to seriously do better. The no waiting in the waiting room rule is absolutely ludicrous. And there is no reason to be rude to people waiting for loved ones. The reception area should be looked at as I am clearly not the only person who experienced this treatment.
This health care facility, so called, provided quite possibly the worst care I have ever received, and being in health care for 32 years as an RN, I have a unique perspective. We arrived at the time we were asked to and proceeded to wait an hour before my husband was called back, he then waited another 45 minutes before the prep began. The front desk staff were very abrupt and curt with their instructions and it might have been nice if we had been informed about the current waiting room policy prior to our arrival so that we could make appropriate arrangements. My husband reported to me that he had severe nausea and cramping after his procedure and the staff seemed to be able to offer very little in the way of care, the best they could do was offer a trip to urgent care. I would think that a center specializing in endoscopy and colonoscopy would be more familiar with caring for their patients with common post procedure complaints. I was called and told to be there at 1:30 and when i walked in the center, I was abruptly told to wait in my car, again it might have been nice if I had been given this information prior to my arrival. I waited over an hour for my husband to be discharged, and when he was, no one had even bothered to remove the electrodes. I sincerely felt that this place is run more like an assembly line than a health care facility, the main goal of which is to get as many patients in and out as possible. Let us wait around, so you don't have to. People, presumably staff, mulling about in open toe shoes, which I have NEVER seen in health care, using the waiting room bathrooms, did not unstill much confidence in the professionalism of the care. Anesthesiology rapidly pushing IV meds causing pain and burning, and a rude and uncaring staff all contribute to the fact that we will never use this facility again, and hope others will take this review seriously. When my husband and I both had this procedure performed in a different setting the experience was completely different, we felt cared for, not rushed, and it was a positive experience. One star because it won't let me post zero
