Not HIPPA compliant, only curtains seperating you from other patients so you can hear name, dob, medical info of other patients. After I woke up from the endoscopy prep/feces was on my butt and running down the back of my leg. I had to use the blanket to wipe it off. No wet wipes or anything. Also leads were still on my body when I got home. This place is so unprofessional for nurses, assistants, and physicians. I will never go back.
Getting anesthesia with Dr. Goodsell was very painful. It felt like my veins were being sliced open. He used a catheter instead of an IV to administer anesthesia, and did not respond to me screaming in pain. He was very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone.
What a staff! Neeci, Amy, Jeff, and Ashley were such an amazing crew; I felt fully informed and supported during every step of the process. Being bundled in freshly warmed blankets before and after my procedure was an extra thoughtful touch. No one ever wants surgery, but this is definitely the place to go if you need it!
The surgical support staff is informative, sincere and caring. I had a ring on my finger of the arm to be operated on. Four of the team tried every option to get the ring off my finger before I recommended they cut the ring. Each person I encounter from check-in to check out was warm and interested in my well-being. I left knowing they were there to continue to support me through my recovery.
I can't speak to the surgical procedures because I didn't make it that far. After waiting for over an hour, my name was called at noon. As soon as the admitting nurse noticed that I was carrying a water bottle, she called me out on it, "you've been drinking water" she falsely accused me of! I told her "no I haven't" and she seemed very bothered that I carry a water bottle, so she said, "I'll have you speak to the doctor." I said ok. When the doctor came out, he was VERY condescending. He told me, "you've been drinking water." I said "no I haven't! Look the bottle is FULL!" He would not even look. He said, "you must wait!" I said, "how long?" He said "4pm depending on how busy we get." I said, "I will schedule another time." I did NOT feel safe with a staff that was convinced of an "imaginary" infraction and who dismissed my eyewitness testimony as if to call me a liar. I felt VERY uncomfortable at this place. No thanks, I don't trust them and I did NOT feel safe there.
