I had an endoscopy at Montana Gastroenterology and, despite the nature of the visit, the experience was truly excellent. From start to finish, the entire team was warm, kind, and incredibly reassuring. They took the time to explain each step, checked in on my comfort repeatedly, and made what could have been an anxious experience feel calm and supported. The care before, during, and after the procedure was thoughtful and attentive. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely compassionate. I left feeling well cared for and confident in the care I received. I’m very grateful to this team and would absolutely recommend Montana Gastroenterology to anyone needing GI care.
My appointment with Kari Deboo NP was one of the most productive medical visits ever. I came in with many questions and concerns as I have upper and lower GI issues. She listened and questioned carefully. She explained things and worked out a doable plan and contingency plan if things change. I’m no longer worried and know how to proceed. She made me feel welcome to follow up if needed.
Great check in process and friendly staff. Good explanation of the process to try to find what caused the unusual calcium growths on pancreas lip with no other symptoms. As Sherloock Holmes would say, "The games' afoot!" Lab testing was ordered and went well, will have a few more tests in the coming months. Looking forward to seeing if any cause or future issues can be anticipated.
I recently had a screening colonoscopy at Montana Gastroenterology, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. From start to finish, the level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness was exceptional. Dr. Jeff Willis demonstrated outstanding expertise and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. His calm, confident communication and patient-centered approach truly set the tone for an excellent experience. I would also like to give a shout-out to the pre-op nurse, Melanie, Carol Edwards, the CRNA, and Tricia, my post-operative nurse. Each of them contributed to a smooth, reassuring experience, and their kindness and professionalism were truly appreciated. One of the things I value most about this practice is that Montana Gastroenterology is the only privately owned gastroenterology office operating as a surgical center in Montana—and one of the very few in the Pacific Northwest. As someone who believes strongly in the importance of independently owned medical practices by clinicians (in an age where the quality of medical care on whole is on the continued decline due to the glut and unnecessary control by private equity, hospital administration, and insurance companies), I find this incredibly meaningful. Independent clinics are far more likely to remain patient-centered, attentive, and compassionate rather than driven by corporate profit motives. My experience here reflected exactly that. I am truly grateful for the exceptional care I received and highly recommend Montana Gastroenterology to anyone seeking high-quality, patient-focused GI care.
I traveled from out of town for a GI procedure, and was not disappointed. Healthcare should always be like this, but isn't. The facility was beautiful and clean, the staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, the website is excellent, and the physician assigned to me, Dr. Cooper, was informative with a good bedside manner. He is also highly qualified and highly rated by other patients. Furthermore, I am self-pay by choice, and the fees were very reasonable (fees at my local hospital were shocking). I will be sharing that information with Healthcare Bluebook. Thank you for being excellent.
