My husband has been a patient for 13 + years with appropriate tests and treatment. Recently he had a procedure to control his afib. The attention was wonderful and it went extremely well - no pain, successful results, and speedy recovery. Thanks for effective treatment.
Had the worst experience yesterday with Dr. Sanchez's office with his nurse practitioner. They asked my husband (the patient) the series of health questions they always ask but when they got to the part about thoughts of self harm or suicidal thoughts or actions, they proceeded to ask in front of our children, who had to be at this appointment with us. My husband has been suffering from severe depression since his stroke and he had to take his mask down and nod yes, so that the kids and I didn't have to see it or hear it. They are SEVEN AND NINE for goodness sake. They have seen their dad in more hospital situations than the average child should have to. This was inappropriate and unnecessary. You shouldn't have to have children to know this. After the nurse did this, then the NP Tori came in and asked the same thing IN FRONT OF THE KIDS again and asked if he had detailed plans and kept asking things in front of them that was not appropriate ONCE AGAIN. All they had to do was simply ask us to step out. Shoot, my husband should have been able to talk about it alone and without being in front of me if he wanted. Super inconsiderate. We had no choice but to bring our kids that day. All the while, they simply discount anything that is going on with him because the neurologist notes say that he didn't have a stroke. But they are wrong again. This doesn't help my husband's mental state either. That's a conversation for another day but it would have been nice to be taken more seriously considering he has heart histories that need to be discussed. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. Mental health is very serious and the way this was handled was not appropriate at all.
Everyone has been great. From check in to check out. Dr. Gdowski was very knowledgeable and quickly decided the first steps in my diagnosis and treatment. Thank you all!
I took an 87-yr-old friend for an annual appointment with both Dr. Robiolio and Dr. Pieper. We arrived on time for a 9:30 am appt. All was fine until after her pacemaker was checked and she saw Dr. Robiolio. Then we sat for 1 hour in a cold room waiting for Dr. Pieper to see us. When he finally came in he said everything had already been checked and we could go. This was very poor service, especially in light of my friend who was cold, tired and confused.
Great place and Dr Craft is amazing. He is such a great nice doctor
