If you have a choice and want a procedure done without issues with billing I would NOT use this place. Their billing department is clueless. They did not do any pre authorization then billed us for full amount of the procedure saying insurance didn’t cover it . I told them I had the EOB from the insurance stating otherwise but she said well then it is your responsibility to contact the insurance to find out what is going on and contact us back otherwise we expect full payment on time. So not great customer service either for sure because this is literally what your job is and what you are paid to do!
I went in for an EGD and colonoscopy. I woke up and began to swallow, and I realized that there was something hard in my mouth. I spit it out in my hand, and it was my tooth. They knocked out my permanent crown and broke my tooth. When the nurse came into the room, I informed her that my tooth was knocked out. She wasn't aware that it had happened. The Dr came in, and I told her the same thing. She, too, didn't realize it was missing. I reached out to the Surgicenter, the director of nursing, and the Dr's office, and they wanted to place blame on the other department. I had to have my tooth pulled and an implant put in. I was told to l to send the information for reimbursement to a specific person, and when I did, I was told, that since I named that person, they will not be responsible for my tooth. I could have aspirated and died if I had indeed swallowed it. I was told that force was used in order to knock that permanent crown out. They are refusing to take responsibility and pay for the replacement.
facility is new ,so nice , more parking, which was needed Check in was easy ,fast, my pre- opt nurse TARA was the BEST!!! super personable not rushed at all, even tho it was super busy. Rest of the staff was good too Dr Frank Totta is the your guy for any gi needs, or colonoscopy, came highly recommended and I totally see why Takes time to really discuss issues and answers all questions 100 out of 10
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't meet a single person who made me feel uncomfortable or like a burden to them like I have in other hospitals. The bedside manner is top-notch and the surgeons and nurses are excellent! All information was given thoroughly and all the questions I had were answered without hesitation and accurately! It was a great experience!
Just had my first ever surgery here - despite my nervousness all interactions we had with the nursing team, anesthesia, front desk were great and reassuring! All of our questions were answered thoroughly and I felt like I was in great care the entire duration I was there. Dr. Stephanie Bollenbach did my surgery and she was excellent!
