I have done a couple procedures with them I am happy with how they explained everything and they told me upfront and my husband you could not leave the building in case of emergency. Bring what you want when you come in. Expect to be there with your loved one until it's over. They were respectful and informative. The Pill Endoscopy is easy to swallow I have issues with big pills but it's slippery and went down easy. I wish they had a place to see your results online. I talked to Billing about what I could pay in advance and that I have to have it go through insurance first then I will pay because of I have FSA.
Should've checked these ratings earlier. Very small, uncomfortable office. Wouldn't let me leave for 10 minutes to get a coffee. Said if I leave the facility,my husband's procedure would be canceled! The coffee machine is filthy!
Though my insurance pays 100% they told me if I did not pay $600 right then my procedure would be cancelled. Sorry nice I have prior history I went ahead and paid. Now over 2 months later and many calls still do not have money back. Can not actually talk to anyone with any authority just keep being told takes awhile. Incredibly deceitful and infuriating.
The Doctors treat you like you’re Cattle and your value after the procedure is 15 minutes or less. I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t looking at their watch during the procedure instead of your colon. You better not have anything serious going on using this clinic. Tell me how you’re getting a thorough exam of a 2 mile colon in 20 minutes? It’s not gonna happen.
A person would be wise to consider other places to seek treatment for endoscopy and/or colonoscopy procedures, rather than wait for them to be done at the center in Independence or Liberty. The scheduling staff and management refused to relay messages to Dr. Grewal regarding my appointments and place necessary for my appointments. SEVEN times, I spoke with scheduling and management staff about incorrect information that they had regarding myself, and asked to have the doctor return my call so as to rectify the matter(s). I was told they do not want the doctor to know of such, because the matter(s) were not important. If the doctor is not made aware of problems, how is the business going to succeed? I have been a patient of this practice for more than twenty years, and have NEVER had problems of any nature. Dr. Lee Brock sold the practice, and it has been nothing but a nightmare for me to be able to as much as touch base with Dr. Grewal to discuss the ongoing problems with management and scheduling. I consider my health issues as very important, and I wish Dr. Grewal and his business the best, but unless he is made aware of the practices taking place in his office, he will continue losing patients. I will never return to this practice, due to the inadequate management and office staff.
