My husband had surgery on 12/29/25. Joseph Yazdi, MD was his surgeon and a wonderful doctor. Chris was his Anesthesiologist and was incredible. Missy, Amber, and Derika were the nurse team and very accommodating and kind. Thank you for the experience.

Updated: If you have questions or issues with billing, the directions on the bill are not helpful. However, the folks in the office were very helpful and explained everything clearly. I should have started with them instead of trying to follow the directions on the bill. Original: I don't have issues with the procedure. They said they were in network but charged me significantly more than my portion should have been based on the insurance. They did this upfront and then tried to charge me again months later. The billing company is reviewing the bills and said I wouldn't receive any more notices until they produce the itemized bill and review the complaint. I have received multiple notices. Make sure you check your bills with your insurance.

The staff were nice. But my doctor didn’t mention he’s an owner. And that the only payment plan they have are insane. I was charged $300 for my procedure day of. Then two weeks later get a bill for almost $3,000. The only payment plan they offer is pay it in full, pay half, or pay $400 a month for 6 months. They also are refusing to give me an itemized statement. Just one showing the cost of the procedure. Not one breaking it down. He never mentioned any of this when they pushed to have the procedure done there, instead of at Mercy. I have a feeling it comes down to his pockets, and not what’s best for his patients. I 100% do not recommend this place, or any GI doctor that works/owns this facility. Stick with Mercy, Wash U, Barnes, anywhere else but here.

My team was great. They got me checked in quickly, they went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and to keep me comfortable. Dr. Carroll did the surgery and made sure it went through seemlessly. They allowed my sister in law to come back almost as soon as I was in recovery. The anesthesiologist was also so great, he was very thorough and made sure I would be comfortable while I was there. Such a great place.

My experience at the TC Surgery Center was exceptional! Kaneasha got me checked in and answered all my questions politely. My nurses, Teresa, Sharon, and Lori, did a fantastic job of explaining all the procedures that would be taking place. They made sure I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. The staff also made sure that my wife was kept up-to-date on how things were going. Had a second surgery recently (5/21). Once again, superior care and service! I'm not a fan of needles and my Pre-op nurse Devyn, made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The entire staff were professional, patient, and attentive.
