I couldn't be happier with my results from my cataract surgeries. I had both eyes done 1 week apart in June of 2024. First of all, I would like to say that I did try the prescription glasses first, mainly just to get by without having to go through the surgery process. I tried that for about 7 months and it was just more of a pain. I had gotten to the point to where I was avoiding driving at night all together. When I was fitted for the glasses I was told it would be just a temporary fix, but I did have cataracts in both eyes and one was worse than the other. Dr. Gillespie told me that I wasn't usually a candidate for the surgery because of my age, but I work very close with my eyes on a daily basis so I was ready to make an improvement. The entire staff at the clinic were always very nice and attentive. You will have to wait a bit, only because Dr. Gillespie is a one man show, but something I was very impressed with, he doesn't just rush your appointment. He takes the time to get everything RIGHT. I had a few adjustments to my Light Adjustable Lenses, but he made me feel very comfortable with everything that was going on before they were able to get the lenses locked in. I would highly recommend the Eye Laser and Surgery Center if you are looking into getting cataract surgery.
