I had orthopedic surgery here yesterday, and as someone experiencing surgery for the first time, I was nervous going in. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. Everything moved along smoothly throughout the day, and I never once felt forgotten or stuck waiting — which makes such a difference when you’re already anxious about surgery. A heartfelt thank you to my pre-op nurse, Shelby. Her kindness, patience, and clear explanations helped calm my nerves and made me feel safe and understood. She truly set the tone for a positive experience. I know my post-op team took great care of me as well, even if I don’t remember every detail. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend the Allina Health Vadnais Heights Outpatient Surgery Center to anyone needing a procedure. They made a stressful day feel manageable and calm.

My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids taken out here. The staff, nurses and doctors were phenomenal! Dr.McMillan couldn’t have been any better. Jeremy was our nurse and he was so friendly, and all around just great at his job!! Thank you all for making this experience a 10/10! I was so impressed!!

I had a knee replacement surgery with Dr Herseth in April. Dr Herseth is awesome. His PA, Compton is amazing! The anestelogist Dr. Reitz was so kind and explained everything in detail and really calmed me down. The nurse staff, Kate, Tara, Gwen, and CRNA Aaronsnd CST Jake all took great care of me. The entire crew worked so well together and the communication between them and from them was perfect. I would definitely recommend this facility for same day surgery. Great place! Great team!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I was TERRIFIED thinking about leaving my 11mo. old son for anesthesia and his Ear Procedure. I felt so much better as soon as I spoke with the fabulous woman at the front desk. We were met with kindness and comfort the second we walked in. The procedure was 3 hours ago, and he’s since been playing and eating and babbling more than he ever has before, now sleeping soundly on my shoulder. Thank you to Dr. Contag and the Allina surgery team for turning a fear into a wonderful experience and helping our sweet baby. We can’t thank you all enough!
