I love my doctor—he’s incredibly understanding of my chronic pain and flare-ups. We agreed to keep an injection approval on file and schedule proactively to avoid delays and prolonged pain since flare-ups can escalate quickly. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgery center has been frustrating. Elizabeth has been inconsistent with scheduling policies, changing from 3 days’ notice to 1 week, and now saying that once my new approval is submitted, she won’t put me on the schedule until I’m already in pain. Despite complying with her inconsistent policy changes, this new direction goes directly against the plan my doctor and I agreed on. Her dismissive attitude and lack of understanding of chronic pain are unacceptable. The center would benefit from more consistency, professionalism, and a compassionate approach when working with patients managing chronic pain. Update: After speaking with the manager, Kelly, I am happy to update my rating. She was incredibly understanding, apologized for my previous experience, and ensured that my arrangement with my doctor would be upheld moving forward. Kelly assured me that there should be no issues maintaining my plan and that the situation I encountered shouldn’t have occurred. Her professionalism and compassion truly made a difference, and I feel much more confident about the care I will receive moving forward.

A fantastic and professional experience. Dr Upadhyay and staff were terrific. My ablation procedure was a breeze. I'm truly grateful I was referred to Dr Upadhyay. Final cudo, Mark the gentleman at the front desk is absolutely the kindest and most compassionate front office person I ever encountered. I would highly recommend Dr Upadhyay and the Oakland Surgi-Center without hesitation.

This place is great. I get my injections done here with Dr Jason Peter every 6 months. Dr. Peter is a great Dr, been going to him for 10 years and the staff at Oakland Surgical Center are wonderful . Christy, one of the Rn's, is awesome and she goes above and beyond . Everyone is great there! You will not find a better place to go. !!

Dr Ashman and the staff were amazing for my epidural injection. Really amazing, i recommend this place to anyone who needs this procedure. Cons, the entrance to this building is shared with the pain clinic. Also, dont try to call the phone number for this location, it sends you to the pain clinic. Calling to ask questions and being dumped to an answer machine is why I rated it 4 stars.

This will be the new location for Maple Millennium and Pain Clinic of Michigan. Been going to the Sterling Heights location for years. All the staff and Doctors are very friendly and professional. Treats all their patients like family and always up with all the newest technology and goes over the best way to treat your pain. I highly recommend anyone to this clinic!!!!
