Novi Surgery Center staffing all tend to show wonderfully kind bedside manner that makes you feel you're the most important thing happening that day. Each attendee communicated effectively & succinctly, showing confidence, calm & focus, are approachable & don't leave the patients wondering “what's next”. They coordinated efficiently to manage my surgery in relatively quick but smooth fashion. I will easily trust that group & surgery center again if needed. Thank you Novi Surgery Center !

Been trying to reach their pre-screening folks after they left me a message for two days now. Messages left a few times, nothing. I'm three days out (and two of those are the weekend!) from a cataract surgery and wonder if it's even going to happen now. If they're that busy, they need to hire more people!

I would strongly advise against anyone using this surgery center. Here is my experience with them : Everything is set for an epidural, insurance good, appointment scheduled, instructions gone over, the only thing that didn't happen was a call to schedule the time for the appointment. I get told they will call a day or two prior with the arrival time. This call never occurs. Then comes appointment day, they want to reschedule because I'm not there, they give pushback that a call WAS made and a voicemail left, I check my phone again, no calls, no voicemails, so they're just lying or mistaken. I call back to speak to a manager/supervisor. They're one of the most dismissive and rude people I've ever spoken to, get told, "Well, that's all in the past and is irrelevant, do you want to make another appointment or not?". Why would I make another appointment when your staff can't even set the time for an appointment then blames the patient for your own mistakes? Absolutely dreadful place, I will be going to a different doctor/place in the future.

I had an injection scheduled yesterday. I showed up early for my arrival time and the woman at the intake desk was on a cell phone (on speaker) and gestured with her hand to have me and my partner to come sit down so I can sign forms. She didn't say good morning or anything. She cut me off when I tried to spell out my last name for her. Once I got called back, the nurse asked me to take an additional test despite my already explaining to them that due to a medical procedure I had had done previously, that additional test wouldn't be necessary. They continued to push and even told me they had never heard of the procedure I had completed (a very common surgery). After some back and forth, they gave up and took me to pre-op. After my first two interactions in this facility, everyone else was lovely. My Dr and I have a great rapport and he was on time and was very comforting when we spoke before the procedure. The anesthesiologist was so lovely and kind as well. Surgery of any kind is stressful enough as it is - taking time off work, arranging for transportation, etc. - without having to deal with poor bedside manner from intake staff and nurses. Kudos to half of the people I interacted with yesterday being compassionate and kind.

Came here for a family members cataract surgery. Arrived at 7:10 a.m., supposed to be tbere at 7:15. We waited about 45 minutes until they took my family member back so they were quite busy. The receptionist, nurses and doctors were all very kind. Had a great experience here.
