Everyone was very caring and helpful. I was very nauseous from the medication that I had to take for the colonoscopy. Before my surgery I was vomiting and the staff kept asking me through the bathroom door if I was okay. They were very concerned. They gave me anti-nausea medication through my IV as soon as they got my IV in. Thank you for being so caring.

After getting an email confirmation for a 1pm procedure with tha arrival time of 12:30 pm, I got a phone call telling me that my procedure was at 8:30 am. We managed to move the time to have the procedure to 12:30 pm which it was closer to the confirmed original time. However, to my surprise, when I arrived to the Lansing Surgery Center, at the checking, I was told that I was supposed to check in at 7:30 am. I told the young lady about the scheduling confusion and her answer was "this is what my screen is showing". I tried to show her the email I received confirming the time for the arrival and procedure, and her answer was "I don't need to see it". Eventually, I was checked in with the correct time without any apologies. While I understand that occasionally, there are scheduling mistakes, this particular procedure requires hours of preparation for the patient. An scheduling error may make the patient miss the procedure all together. Also, after my check in experience, I noticed two other people having the same scheduling issue I had! Please look into this and properly adress the scheduling problems. With respect to the medical team who took care of me and performed my colonoscopy, they were all very professional, competent and friendly. Thank you for the opportunity, Dr. Norma Baptista

I had a colonoscopy this morning 10/24/2025. I had Dr Lilly performs the procedure* She is amazing and the staff and nurses were so kind to me I have severe anxiety, and they answered all my questions even before my procedure I called a couple times, and they were very willing to answer any concerns. Highly recommend*

The staff is really nice and friendly. They helped ease any anxiety I felt before, during, and after my procedure. Dr. Jones also made time to talk to me, before the procedure, about what to expect (which isn’t always the case with other doctors) so that was appreciated.

Dr Jones, "Dorian" was very friendly and introduced himself by his first name making things much more pleasant. Very thorough, polite and kind. Answered all my questions with care and compassion for me. Scheduling my surgery (upper GI) was a breeze and within a very quick timeframe. (6 days later)!!!! The surgery was good at the surgery center w/very good staff concerned for me. Wait time from my scheduled procedure was over the time but went quickly once they took me to the OR. The nurse anesthesiologist, Lisa, was FANTASTIC!!! Very charming and charismatic. I highly recommend this Dr and the surgery center he operates out of.
