Great place to get an EGD done at. Been here 5 times now for a procedure, and the nurses and staff have always been great! Julia the PA is awesome! She really listens to me, and I’m happy she actually cares. Taylor is also great! Everyone is very kind. Definitely recommend
I had a colonoscopy today and let me just say from the time I walked in to register with the receptionist everyone was super professional, caring and just plain nice. Once I made it to the back Dana, Brandi and Gabrielle were truly truly awesome. They were thorough in explaining the procedure and just all around great. When in the room to perform the procedure Dr. DeGayner’s bedside manner was top tier not to mention she was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this establishment and the people that work there they are rock stars 10/10!
Completely incompetent office staff!!! And I do not say this lightly!!! I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy this past late summer early fall and it’s January and they are still sending surprise bills. Everytime I call one office either doctor or surgery center they say I don’t owe anything. I have also paid the same bills multiple times it seems and getting more. Everytime I say do I owe you anymore they say no or I don’t know. But apparently those offices do not communicate with the billing department at all. At this point between one singular office visit and the surgeries I’ve paid upward of 1,000 dollars with having really good insurance that “covers it.” I know insurance coverage is not necessarily the fault of the office staff but how they handle billing and communication between departments was absolutely awful. I tried to politely tell the billing person that they need to communicate better and completely ignored me. Just said what’s your card number? And even with the surgery experience and everything they kept getting confused about every little thing. I would make an appointment and some other office would call and say I don’t have any appointments set up yet. If I called about the discrepancy they would ask who I talked to and it’s like, I don’t know?!? Like how do you expect me to remember that? Maybe you guys could communicate with each other. Also after my colonoscopy they somehow got my driver’s phone number wrong and they said they called “multiple times and just went to voicemail” but they messed up a number in the sequence and I had to try to groggily fix it coming off of anesthesia. They also needed to be reminded multiple times that my dad is my dad and not my husband for insurance purposes. Sometimes it feels like they don’t write anything down or something! I’m adding one extra star for having a good experience with Dr. Desai and the kind nurses there but overall this office needs to have a serious meeting about intradepartmental communications!!!
"doctor does not work with disability" -staff. my colonoscopy went smoothly, only positive feedback i have. This doctor was rude, refused to see me after my first follow up because he wants to pin my severe gastro issues on rupturing ovarian cysts, when the pain isn't even localized to that area. I know that pain. Refused to do further testing, said it wasn't in his area. Endoscopy wasn't necessary to him, even though I vomit and defecate bloody mucus daily. You feel like you're dying? Find another doctor, this one will just make you wish you had the balls to end it yourself. I really wish i could after seeing him.
I wrote an earlier statement I have now decided to retract, based on the sincerity of Dr. Nick and his way of listening and reviewing what was missed and how crucial it was to our family at this time. That is what makes a better-Doctor or better-Dentist or better-Anesthesiologist. So when steps our missed many live become lost, families become broken and to heal from trauma you have to have triumphs in going through the hurts with a village that communicates and helps facilitate that outcome. That is what changes Negative to a positive. I am a mother, grandmother, who has seen too much, knows too much and I know what needs to change. I felt heard today. I wasn't mean or malicious in doing so. When I make a promise to someone That I will be there and I can't fulfill that. There is power in my words. In my Greif and understanding. Thank you for hearing me today. I do appreciate it very much.
