I had a procedure on Jan.23,2026. Every person that I encountered at this facility was amazing! From the woman who took my name at the door, to Maggie who registered me, to Abbey my nurse and my anesthesiologist, whose name I can't remember but I do remember that she was small but mighty!! These women helped an old lady relax and feel cared for! They were kind, personable and so very qualified! My physician, Dr. Patel, is also the best! I would highly recommend this facility! Nothing is more healing than to feel you're in the hands of people who truly care about your comfort and safety! Thank You!!! Pat Hare

I was there for eye surgery. Everybody from the administrative staff, to nurses, anesthesiologist, & doctors were excellent. I experienced nothing but the highest level of professionalism and kindness. Asher

Nice place and staff is nice My only issue is I buzzed the door ( like I was told), and talked to a staff member and they said my husband would be out in 10 minutes. Then had to wait over 45 minutes for my husband, and they informed me that they had no idea I was therewaiting for him... Odd, but other than that they were great.

Today, October 8, 2025. I had my colonoscopy, and I am grateful for the work of all the team members. Thanks to Dr Chemmanur and thanks Kathy for her kindness. I recommend this place 100%

I checked in for my tonsillectomy, having provided the name I would preferred to be called instead of my full name. (I’m a transgender male and already feel extremely unsafe with the state of this country at the moment) The receptionists blatantly ignored that request and made sure to loudly call me by my full name in the waiting room multiple times which causes a lot of people to stare, as I don’t look like someone with that name would normally look anymore. I am always very understanding when slip ups happen, so I didn’t say anything. Though I did wonder why the intake forms asked for a preferred name if it would just be ignored. I was quickly checked in and sent to sit with my wife who would be taking me home later. While waiting, we slowly started to notice that each patient who came in after me for the same procedure with the same surgeon were being treated differently and given extremely detailed information on the process, patient discharge, when their rides should pick them up as well as where to do so. This receptionist (about 5’6/7 with short white hair maybe in her 60s) had neglected to share any of this information with me or my wife upon checking us in, yet had no problems providing it to every other patient she saw in the waiting room. I have never seen such blatant discrimination and malpractice. I’m very disappointed that some cannot set their opinions aside to help people. PEOPLE. That’s all we are. Shame on her for asserting her own political agenda at work. The only reason this review has two stars instead of 1 is because of the actual medical staff, who bothered to take the time to read my documents and see which name I preferred to go by. Particularly the nurse who took me in, Sarah. She was very kind to me and was very patient when I cried after realizing I was treated so differently by the front desk. The rest of Dr. Mehta’s team including the lovely anesthesiologist were wonderful and the surgery went very well. If the rating was based solely on them, this review would be 5 stars. It’s sad when such wonderful people work in the same establishment with such close-minded bigoted individuals whom can’t see human beings for the human beings they are; transgender or not. I do not recommend the front-desk reception at Worcester Surgical, but this is unfortunately a necessary step to get to the ones who actually care about ALL of their patients; the nurses and surgeons and specialists in the back. They are the real MVPs.
