This was my first time ever going under anesthesia, I was incredibly nervous for the entire week leading up to my endoscopy. When I arrived, I shared my anxieties with the team. They eased them immediately, my nurse was so kind and friendly. She explained the procedure to me and let me know that it is all they do, all day everyday, so they are experts. The anesthesiologist also came by and explained her whole process to me as well. I was feeling better by the second and just like that it was over. I woke up feeling fine and the first thing I saw after waking was, a big smile. My nurse was there and ready to help me get prepared to go home. Excellent first experience!

I have found Dr. Akerkar to be a knowledgeable professional who truly cares for her patients. Although there is some hesitation to call when there's a concern, I am so thankful that I did. An excellant experiznce. Everything ran like vlockwork. You walk in, registdr dit dawn for 2 minutes, thwy call you in, you are accompanied by a nurse who takes you to uour bed. She asks several questions gives you a johnnie, puts an IV in and tes you to het cpmgortable. Three minutes later the anesthesiest vomes in tells you what will happen. Then they take you in to an operating room. You go out. When you awaken you are back in your room. The doctor tells you everything went fine. The nurse tells you to dress when you feel ok. Then walks you to your ride. Alo g the way you can grab a package of cookies and a drink. A very pleasant experiance.
