Doctor Kersten is a great doctor. I sadly won't be seeing him anymore since this location is his closest to us and even in the pain I am in I am NEVER coming back to this poorly ran ******** first off today they ran a fire drill which sent my migraine screaming and the employees just disappeared we didnt know it was a drill but it became very evident where we sit on their priority list. While trying to vacate there was no markings for stairs so we all were walking on the 3rd floor like idiots not knowing what to do. After that mess was over I had my patient room experience which I turned off the lights to relax and try and calm down but the pains kept getting worse and they were dragging equipment around the hall like they were trying to be as loud as possible. The nurse knew I was already shaking and not okay and my blood pressure was 140 over 110 and even with all this information I had to leave I was laying on that bed in pain and after an hour and a half after my appointment time I had to make the decision to go home and get my rescue meds before I had a full on freak out. I still have no clue where the stairs are and have emailed the state fire Marshal to deal with that. On the appointment having to be bailed on for negligence I will be making a formal complaint to Cigna to warn others in network about the lack of care from this facility.

As an advocate of a patient the wait time was extremely long. The young lady at the front desk asked that I go in with my patient since my translator had to leave due to the long wait just to make sure I understood and she understood. My duty to the patient. They were using a translator app to discuss with the patient the procedure. When called back the tech/nurse I don't know what she was by the name of Nae was like we have a translator and you don't need to come back. I informed her what was told to me and proceeded to go back. She was very aggressive and had an attitude the entire time. While sitting out in the waiting area she would come to the reception area to roll her eyes. When I went back when my patient was coming out of recovery and the lady wanted to explain things to me, again this LITTLE GIRL is rolling her eyes at me. I just chuckled. I also overheard another patient (who's daughter works there as well) complaining of NAE and how she was treated as well. With that kind of service and people are in pain no one wants to be talked to or treated the way Ms. NAE was acting. I hope when we return for my patients next visit, this will be addressed. This is not good business practice and one bad apple spoils the entire bunch.

All of the staff are very nice and efficient. Quiet waiting room and exam room. Saw me on time. Dr. Hameed addressed both my primary doctor’s concerns and my own. I felt like she listened. Will return if I have pain in the future.

I hope I never have to return to this establishment Clearway Pain (Waldorf). This is in no way toward the tech, Curtis and the doctor, who did their jobs. The call center/insurance verification system is not good. I had to call my own insurance company and do a three way call to confirm that I did in fact have coverage because they couldn’t do so correctly. Then I finally schedule an appt: it was here that I requested an appt for the office near home (Prince Frederick) & asked if it was ok that my two year old son accompanied to my appt as I’m a SAHM (I was told yes it was fine). All was well, I called again the day prior to confirm my appt to find out that my appt was actually not where I needed but in Waldorf. So now I’m driving further and the appt is pushed back to 10:50a and not 10:20a… it’s not what I was told on the phone. I confirmed AGAIN that it was ok I had my son come along. They said it was fine. The day of the appt; I arrived at 10:40a (paperwork was all completed prior to coming). I sat in the waiting room for TWO hours before being seen. Every time I went up to the desk, asking about my appt I was told they’re running behind but I was next. By this point it was just before 1p when I was called back, when I approached to walk back THEN I was told no minors allowed. Meaning, after sitting for hours in a waiting room AND confirming over the phone, they told me I couldn’t take my son back with me. Unfortunately there was nothing they would/could do. I frantically left my son with my great grandmother who tagged along, this was UNACCEPTABLE. I could’ve arranged childcare in advance had I been made aware of the policies. During my appt, I watched 3 ladies sit around socializing (1 of which who was supposed to be manning the front desk) & they were eating cake. Two patients walked back to them asking who was working up front because they had been signed in and waiting for over 30 minutes to get checked in…. This is an extremely unprofessional office and zero care or respect to it’s patients. I really hope it gets addressed but I will not be recommending this establishment to my family and friends, I will be sharing my horrible experience.

I was very impressed with my visit to Dr. Ehsab Abdeshahian! My first time there. The office staff was above and beyond helpful and very friendly! The assistant picked me up from the waiting room, took me in the office and proceeded to go like a well oiled clock, each step of information that she knew or didn’t know was noted, next step and when the doctor will be coming in to see me! They say you’re only as good as your leader right?…..well Dr. Ehsab was an excellent listener, patiently explaining my treatment options (I didn’t feel rushed) ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. I particularly appreciated how he took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this practice". Thanks, Stephanie
