I absolutely adore Dr. Clayton, and his nursing staff was amazing. However, we were there getting tubes for my 2 year old, first time ever receiving anesthesia. At the end of surgery, Dr. Clayton came out and explained everything to us. When we went in the back to get our daughter, she was extremely confused waking up from anesthesia. Whoever was with her when she woke up with had no desire to calm her down. I attempted to calm her down and whoever was with her (not sure if it was a nurse or not) handed us her blanket and was like “just exit through this way” and showed us the door. I get that the center has back to back surgeries, but they didn’t even give us a second to calm her down which led to her screaming the entire way home from confusion. I wish they would’ve given us a few minutes to calm her down first. Within 3 min of her waking up, we were out the door.

These people sent me home in another patient abdominal binder, lied about it until being forced to acknowledge their error. Even after realizing their mistake, they never apologized or reimburse me for my $85 binder that they lost, threw away or put on another patient. I do not recommend.

Imagine being fresh out of surgery, feeling horrible and instead of being cared for by compassionate people you are forced to listen to nurse Michelle rant about how much she hates her job while having to care for a sick patient. Why was she even there? I would have preferred to care for myself after surgery than for her to be there, making me feel worse.

We had the best experience at Towson Surgical Center when my 3 year old had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Very clean environment and very friendly staff! Huge thank you to Michelle RN and Dr. Clayton who went out of their way to make our visit as smooth and accommodating as possible. Also, a big thank you to all other staff at TSC from anesthesia, OR staff and the PACU nurses for taking such good care of our daughter!
