This is a disgusting practice I called 5/21/2025 for my father who is hearing impaired. The receptionist was pleasant at best. He had been seen by one doctor almost 3 years ago with no follow up. As I now take care of his needs the hospital discharged him to work with Dr. hassab, I was told no appointment could be made due to him seeing another dr who clearly didn’t follow up either and it would be under review and give it 48-72 hours here we are almost 3 weeks later no response no appointment and I believe it’s because they do not want to accommodate a deaf man. Future legal action is now pending.

Received a call for my co-pay 3 days before surgery asking for $5000 that was left from my insurance after $26,000. I stated I don't have that. Then stated they will speak to supervisor. Supervisor asked if we could do $2500. I said no I can only do $100 and make payments on the rest, due to me having Multiple Scerosis and have many medications and see alot of doctors. Why would u call me 3 days prior to my surgery? I arrived for my surgery and office stated the lowest they could do was $220. I said my husband said we don't have that extra. Office stated well can't see u then. we are in a pandemic, people have lost jobs, business are closing, and ur going to deny me medical surgery because I cannot afford a high co-pay amount. My husband had to move money over and now my electric bill will be late. It's a $26,000 surgery & already getting 21,000 from my insurance. This facility only cares for the dollar. I love my doctor, or I would have went somewhere else. Have had 5 surgeries in the past and never in any other facility have I've been asked to pay so much up front!

Dr. Wesson is awesome, she repaired my hernia. As for "bedside manors" she is the best. She really cares for all her patients.

Dr.Harris is beyond an awesome Doctor! He performed surgery on me in April of 2016 and pretty much saved my life. He’s been nothing short of amazing since. I’ve unfortunately had a few visits and stays in howard General, however Dr.Harris comes by each time I’m there. He’s by far the best surgeon ever and I pray that he knows how appreciative his patients are of him. A true GOD SEND!
