I had a GREAT experience at Maryland Center For Digestive Health (Dec. 2025) -- from the admitting secretary, to the nurses, to Dr. Raja Taunk -- all did a *great* job. I am so thankful for a smooth colonoscopy. And it's so great that you can use an Uber to get there and back. All were caring and attentive. Dr. Taunk was fantastic. I feel tremendous gratitude for all who served me there that day. Thanks so much! :)

Worst experience. They did not allow a support person when you’re waking up from anesthesia. The nurses were cold and rude. One asked me if I recalled what the doctor said to me upon waking and when I said no, she responded, well you were groggy and then walked away. Wth. I also ended up admitted to the hospital later that night. First time I’ve had any issues with my procedures. I’ll be going back to Anne Arundel Digestive Center. The staff is so wonderful there.

Had 2 prior colonoscopies here in the past and was impressed. Not this time. Front desk pleasant enough. After that was a total uncaring factory push through. Heard all of the nurses personal chatter waiting to be taken in. No eye contact from staff when explaining procedures-like robots. Worst anesthesiologist experience ever -rattled off some kind of explanation to me while being wheeled into procedure room-then woke up in the middle of procedure! Extremely painful! Scripted ending -“Enjoy your breakfast! “

I had a procesure here 2 months ago. Staff at front desk and check in were super nice. The nurses were very pleasant while I got prepped for procedure. My doctor, anesthesiologist, and nurse were very helpful and pleasant. I am happy with my procedure, but I was not happy with afterwards. No tea, ginger ale, orange juice, crackers, cookies..nothing offered to get you right after having not eaten for a full day and a half. I have had this procedure done 2 times in the past, and after waking from the procedure, I was greated with a good bedside manner, asked if I wanted liquids or some snacks. Very unprofessional in this regard.
