I have followed Dr. Mike Wages from Texarkana to this Practice, and so very pleased that I did. He has helped me to continue to live my 59 year old active lifestyle. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Wages even went beyond my expectations to call and check on me after my last visit. I can highly recommend this Practice and Dr. Wages for practical lifestyle maintenance not requiring an unnecessary medication regimen.

Incompetent to say the least. I was dismissed well over a year ago. I was told that I had never, not once since I had my first appointment, had my medication in my system. I found all of this out when I called for a refill and the nurse accused me of selling my medication. I make a lot of money. I took major offense to that. I do not even personally know anyone who would literally buy prescriptions from me. I do not associate myself with people of that nature and never have. Not only was I accused of not having my pain medication in my system, but they also stated a mental health medication I took almost daily at the time had never shown up. This struck me as odd. I called the company that does their labs and requested access to my results portal. I was given this access, and to not much of a surprise, I saw my positive test results. There was one occasion where it did not show up, but it was the same timeframe I was suffering from severe kidney issues and advised to drink a gallon of water a day. Which I was doing. The only interventional care I was offered other than medication was PT. I went religiously and even asked for more PT. I believe one of two things happened here. They made a charting mistake between my lastname change and refused to admit it, or they just blatantly lied to me on the phone. Since being dismissed, I have been diagnosed with an unbelievable amount of issues. Issues I discussed with them-such as my back, and was never offered the option of ablations, etc. My C5, C6, C7, and L4, L5 and SI are in terrible shape. I have been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Recently saw a geneticist who diagnosed me with Ehlers-Danlos, I have RA, neuropathy in most of my body. I dislocate joints constantly. I stuffer from Raynaud's and so many more ailments. Their blatant lies have taken my life from me. I am blackballed in this area and can’t even get in with another pain management office for ablations, etc. So, thanks a lot for ruining my life and obviously letting SOMEONE work there who is more incompetent than my dog would be. The way I was berated was just uncalled for. To be called a pill seeker and/or a drug dealer by a medical professional is absolutely absurd. You take an oath to help, not harm. This place helped me, and then ripped it away and ruined my chances with any other doctors. All the while, my geneticist, rheumatologist, and primary all suggest pain management and do what they can to assist me. Thankful for those providers. It’s people like the staff member that made the terrible decision to pass a judgement on me without even speaking to me about it that cause people to lose faith in ever finding help. Shame.

No complaints really. First off, it's not the easiest place to find. It's not overly difficult if you have GPS or know the area. Their sign out front is really faded, so look for it.... Is hard to take a lot of photos inside due to all the patients waiting, thusly my inside photos are few. There are two sides when you come in the front door, but they're marked which side is which. Everyone we came into contact with was very nice and friendly. The care is good and the place is clean. Not much else to say about this type of place.... I mean, they keep the outside neat and clean, too :) Oh, it is right next to Holiday Inn. The only two roads to get into the office park is Bert Kouns and Fern Ave. You may have been to Tokyo restaurant.. This place is on the office park by all the auto dealers.

Dr. Randall Brewer and his team at River Cities have earned my highest praise. From the first consultation to the follow-up care, I've been consistently impressed by their professionalism, understanding, and devotion to providing superb medical care. Dr. Brewer's ability to listen attentively and address my concerns has been incredibly noteworthy. Brittany and the rest of the staff have also been outstanding in their kindness, empathy, and commitment to patient care. I'm grateful to have found such an exceptional healthcare provider. They give faith to the health care system here in Shreveport.
