I'm somewhat confused about the old reviews here as I thought this facility was fairly new. I recently had a procedure here and everyone from the nursing staff to the Doctor and anesthetist were top notch. They were all friendly and courteous, overall one of the best experiences I have ever had at a medical facility.

My son had trouble waking from anesthesia. When he did wake, he was confused and slurring his words. The nurse thought he was putting on a show and repeatedly told him that “it was time to go” and “he should have been gone already”. She informed me that “the medicine does not do this and that he thought he was on YouTube.” I certainly did not have my phone in hand taking video so this was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. His blood pressure was dropping and she unhooked him anyways and told me to bring the car around. Three nurses were standing right outside of the door talking about him and not one of them spoke up to say let’s give him more time. He couldn’t hold a drink or keep his head on the pillow yet the bed rail was lowered and he was told to get dressed. When a nurse brought him to the car she told me that “he was unsteady on his feet.” My son was just a number on a rushed time schedule. Getting him out was more important than his wellbeing. As a parent I was terrified when he wouldn’t wake but just told he’s acting. He remembers none of it. I did call to report this but think it’s important for others to be aware. A patients well being should be put above all else.

I applied for some assistance with costs at the surgery center after insurance. I am on social security, I also raise my sister children 20yr 18yr 16yr I was refused help because they disregard anyone over 18. Even if I’m sole income in household. The 18 yr is a senior in HS and 20yr is in college. They must figure once a child turns 18 I should throw them out and move to smaller home to better afford expenses. I have never seen such an attack on the working family as Baptist Hospital Surgery Center at Hamburg. Baptist hospital should terminate business with them and bring in a group that values family. Such horrible greedy people. I guess I’ll come back after I throw out the kids so I. An afford their extremely overpriced, and from these reviews, underperforming facility

I don’t recommend taking young children. I took my 4 year old for a dental procedure and It was sad.. all nurses except for two was excellent. He was obviously nervous and just wanted his mom, I don’t see why parents can’t be there when they put them to sleep. I get rules but to jerk a child up from his mother and walk into the room is awful.

Their Top of the line customer service along with amazing situational awareness allowed Them to go out of their way to get our family into their appointment in a timely and expedient manner! This is our second time here, and trust them with any further appointments if needed! I would recommend this professional team to anyone in need of any surgical care that they may provide! AWESOME JOB GUYS!
