I want to send a review about the nurses and staff at MAO Surgery Center and how wonderful they are. Especially Loren and Holland - I was so excited for my brachioplasty with Dr Steen at Monarch Plastic Surgery, but nervous about the procedure. It was a surprise that I’d need an IV in my foot and when they couldn’t find a vein, they were able to use a vein in my leg. They did such a good job and made my experience so amazing and comfortable. I would come back any time I have a procedure I need done!! Thank you so much!!!

I had a minor surgical procedure at MAO and it was a very pleasant experience. I didn't have the same level of fear that I would have going to a hospital setting. Every single staff member was so warm and comforting - from pre-arrival calls with Stephanie to meeting Karen at the front desk to Erin who prepped me and placed the IV line then greeted me in post-op. Everyone made it a low stress and comfortable experience. I thank you all for giving this chicken confidence and compassion!

I had knee surgery here today. From start to finish, it was a 5 star experience. The front desk gal was so respectful to me and had a very calming demeanor. My nurses were spot on professional while also throwing humor into the mix. I wish they had a staff listing on their website so I could call these hard workers out by name. Here's what it felt like: a professional group of carers who excel at what they do and treat patients respectfully while creating a workflow process that is smooth from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend SANO Orthopedics (Dr. Christopher Eckland) and MAO Leawood Surgery Center!

I was scheduled for a knee surgery and was scared, don't like needles, and was trying to be cool. But I must say, the ladies there from first walked in to ladies in back treated me so nice and my.new buddy Erin was so nice and calm me down and so bubbling and fun jokes too.
