I would NOT use this place! If I could give a negative star I would. We had a horrible experience! My Mom was scheduled to have her throat scoped and have a Flex Sigmoidoscopy. They did not check her records to see I am her Medical Power of Attorney so we had to argue with them to let me be with her while they went over her records. Then we find out that she should have done a Colon Prep that was not done because she wasn’t given the prescription. We are then told she could not have the Throat Scope done because they did not have the correct Anesthesia. At this point they should have rescheduled but instead they hand me an Enema and send us to the bathroom. We should have left at that point but we did as told. We got back to her room and the proceeded to put her IV in. My Mom asked to have it in her arm instead of her hand because she has a lot of pain when she gets them in her hand. She is very frail and has no fat or muscle in her hands. I really did not think it was that big of a request but the Nurse seemed quite annoyed and was rude and frankly a little rough with her when she put it in. The whole experience was one nightmare after another and now she doesn’t want to go back for the Throat Scope. I honestly don’t blame her. I am still mortified by the whole thing. We will find someplace new. This place lacks basic compassion for their patients. No one deserves to be treated like that.

I just came in today for a procedure and I would like to say that Dr. Li and my two nurses Peg and Danielle were truly awesome. Even checking in the receptionist was welcoming. They were very caring and compassionate and truly made sure that I was comfortable and told me about the entire process and the aftercare. I really really appreciated them. I was a little nervous about going in but the entire team at the Tristate Surgery Center made my day. Thank you for the time you took to look after me.

I had a procedure done there this morning and I had the best nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr experience. The nurses are kind, move along at a great pace and also help relieve any nerves by being interactive and playful. I would highly recommend tri-state surgery. Thank you all for the excellent care.
