Very friendly, efficient and professional. A no pain procedure. Staff answered all my questions. Dr. Shan Cheng did a good piece of work. Took out 11 polyps. Neat clean and fast. 2 hours later I was having Salmon New Orleans. Many thanks! May God bless all there at St. Francis in Indianapolis.
Dealing with the most frustrating situation and there is no one to give answers or help! No one answers the phone OR returns a phone call in a timely manner. When a call is FINALLY returned, it is in the most disrespectful and unprofessional manner! I will be contacting anyone and EVERYONE I can to find out whom I can file a formal complaint with. This is in regards to 'DARLA' at ext 4442 (billing department). I have NEVER felt so disrespected!!
The prep was the š©& worse part of course BUTT the rest was a breeze of fresh air š My overall experience was Amazing!!! I would recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Cheng & all the staff was super friendly and made ya feel right at home. Dr.Cheng explained everything perfectly to where I could make sense of things and understand and heās very supportive and takes time with each individual scale rating overall 0-10 I definitely say itās a +100 SO donāt be afraid getcha Booty checked āļø
I had to go in for a routine procedure (endoscopy) to determine if I had an autoimmune disease associated with some symptoms Iāve been having. Procedure went well, no concerns/complaints and I didnāt remember a thing about the procedure itself. Bill (a nurse), Adam (the anesthesiologist) and a plethora of other nurses were fantastic. I had one poor experience. The second from last nurse I had made comments about me coming down from anesthesia, making comments like ādonāt act high, we didnāt give you narcoticsā. I personally get very anxious/nervous when coming down from any kind of sedation and when I do, I tend to a nervous giggle/twitch from anxiety. My fiancĆ© was in the room and immediately his ears perked up, and he started listening in. Then shortly after, I was asking questions about the procedure because they stated they didnāt see anything, and I was told by that same nurse that it was extremely unlikely that I had this condition because I was ātoo bigā and didnāt fit the criteria. Which is 100% untrue (she did not use the words fat, but the comment was suggestive enough for me to understand what she meant by it). I am a little larger than average, about 165-175lbs on a bad day, and her comments absolutely crushed me because Iāve been on a weight loss journey and have lost about 30/40lbs in the past year. She made similar comments of how I wouldāve had this condition since I was young, and that these people are āsticky skinny, pale and anemicā (which I was all of those for years until I gave birth to my last child) and that these conditions are ālifelongā and ādonāt suddenly appearā (I was told the opposite by my physician). All in all, it was a pleasant experience until the very end. I may have to get another procedure done here and I would trust them enough to confirm a diagnosis. But some, Iād recommend, should take another course on bedside manner.
Dr. James Jacob and his healthcare team are super professional and very helpful. I went here for a scheduled upper endoscopy procedure. Everyone including the scheduling lady, the person who asked me to sign waivers, and nurses were super polite and kind. The nurses who were accompanying me to operation room were so calm and also helped me calm down. Last time I was put in full anesthesia was when I was 7, so naturally I was quite nervous but the team was very helpful in calming me down. I didnāt even realize when they use the anesthesia but they told me it gets into effect in 20 seconds. I donāt remember any part of the procedure. They were so nice to call my boyfriend so he picks me up and also called him again to guide him which door to pick me up from my wheelchair. After the procedure, another very nice nurse helped me with checkout procedure and gave me apple juice. The unit uses Klara chat systems and I got timely responses regarding my questions before the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. James Jacob if you want to check any stomach related issues or want an expert opinion. Thanks a lot for your service.
