I was in there to receive a cortisone injection for lower back pain. I informed them that due to recent experiences needles and the like cause severe anxiety. I requested To please refrain or limit my exposure to seeing the needles and implementation. Less than five minutes later the nurse comes in with an entire bucket full of needles sets them on the table directly in front of me. She then turns to me and says, "I understand you don't like needles". She then proceeds to to pile needles, IV's, and hoses right on my lap. These experiences are exactly why I have anxiety when dealing with doctors. Not only were my concerns completely ignored, I was slapped in the face with them. This goes far beyond the definition of unacceptable. I will be filing an official complaint with both my insurance company and Methodist Hospital.

I had surgery here in May 2024, and paid all charges, then and I received a notice in January 2025 that I had a $150 outstanding balance due without any explanation, and before I could respond and get more information, the bill was sent to collections and dinged my credit score. I’m simply trying to figure out why I’m being charged months later and only received one vague notice about it. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.
