I have to start this review by first and foremost saying that Teresa Hurley is Mother Theresa in the flesh. Since the day of my consult leading up to the day of my surgery with Dr. Sturgill, Teresa has very kindly and patiently responded to approximately 1,000,001 questions and concerns I’ve had throughout this process and really helped alleviate the anxiety that comes along with surgery (especially facial surgery). She is still very patiently answering questions 2 weeks post op. I had to give Teresa a shout out and let her know how grateful I am of her kindness and patience. Dr. Sturgill is also nothing short of amazing. He has made me feel so comfortable from day 1. For a surgeon with so much accomplishment, knowledge, and skill, he still remains down to earth, and easy to talk to. His confidence creates a sense of ease. Every office visit he’s been so positive, uplifting, and enthusiastic. The day of my surgery I was so anxious he almost seemed more enthusiastic and excited than I was LOL it gave me a reassuring feeling that he loves his work and what he does which created peace for me before going under anesthesia. I have no complaints for Dr. Sturgill and his team. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind and helpful. As for the results, I am still only 2 weeks post op so it’s really hard to make an accurate judgement this early. I had a combination of procedures so I’m still quite swollen. But from a health standpoint, recovery thus far has been smooth. Very clean incisions, no infections, no complications. I will update this review at a later date when I’ve had more time to recover and share my thoughts on my final result! Thank you to Dr. Sturgill, Teresa, and the rest of the team🫶🏼

I just had breast surgery at Meridian and am overall pleased with my result. The size was what I wanted but the only thing I did not like was one side’s incision looked like it was sutured very sloppy almost as if the surgeon was in a rush or like someone was learning how to suture. It was night and day difference between the 2 side’s incisions. Very strange. My low review is from my experience with the staff. My experience was poor starting in pre op with anesthesia being completely condescending and rude. It was so off putting and this anesthesiologist was grumpy and looked very old.. he should retire. Dr. Laine I think his name was.I overheard him being extremely rude to the nurses while I was waiting which was really uncomfortable to hear. My daughter even made a comment to me about it and was appalled. The nurses were all gossiping about each other in pre op as well and us patients could hear all of it. Reminded me of the movie Mean Girls. I’m not sure if they realize us patients can hear what they are saying while we are in our pre op bays? While getting my sutures out, the nurse was not friendly at all and seemed like she was annoyed to even be there. She would not smile or maybe it was all the work she had done on her face that prevents her from smiling? Who knows. The overall culture and patient experience was very very negative and borderline toxic and uncomfortable. My surgery result and experience with the surgeon was great but the majority of the Merdian staff needs an overhaul big time.

I've had 2 surgeries and a few procedures done at this facility, and it has been an excellent experience. Dr. Kelley took the time to sit with me and discuss what I needed and wanted out of the surgeries I was seeing her for, and I felt involved in this process every step of the way. She is very detailed, thorough, empathetic, and kind - I never feel rushed by her or any of the staff, and always feel welcomed when I come here. Everyone here is very good at clearly communicating what you can expect from each procedure and what will happen at every step, which really helped quell my anxiety. They also did the work of negotiating with insurance for me so I wouldn't have to worry about it and could just focus on the healing process, which also went very well. Dr. Kelley and her staff made sure to keep in contact with me throughout the entire process and ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible. My life has been changed for the better by these folks and I am so grateful to them!

I'm a 21 yr old patient who recently had a breast reduction (E cup) with Dr. Christine Kelley. I can not expressed how pleased I am with her personally, her work, and her entire team. They all have made this process extremely smooth and rewarding in terms of the procedure and insurance struggles. After consultations with numerous other surgeons, I felt that Dr. Kelley had my best interests at heart (both physically/mentally and monetarily) and was willing to fight for me when others were not. Dr. Kelley ensured throughout this entire process that my voice was acknowledged and treated me with the upmost respect and care.

The staff, nurses, and surgeons are all very professional and great. I had two surgeries done, one with Dr. Johnson, and one with Dr. Kelley. They were both fantastic and great with before care and after care. The only complaint I had was that there was something not done in the procedure that had previously been discussed but maybe not solidified. I wish I had been more thorough about it, but also I wish it had been brought up by the doctor as well.
