The procedure and people doing the procedure were great. The doctors office however put a extra charge of $250 in my follow up office visit which I am not paying which hurts me and it's not fair. I couldn't be seen in the office the next day so they said he would just call me so I could tell him I was fine...which why couldn't the PA just tell him. So for him to make at the most a 2 minute call they charged me $250. I realize they needed to charge something but not no $250. So that is why I give them low stars.
Visit and procedure went well. Receptionist forgot to put the doctor on my wrist band so that was a little concerning since that seems to be an important step. The nurses were all great. The Nurse anesthesiologist was kind of robotic and would say the same speech to each patient (I overheard her say the same speech to someone else as soon as she left my curtain) and gave barely any time for questions. Also, it would be nice if the doctor would wait until you were more fully awake before giving you the results, again no time given for questions.
I was terrified to get my EGD, but everyone here was so kind and reassuring. The nurses, doctors and other staff are all very down to earth with great bedside manner. I thought I was going to be living a nightmare, but it was very pleasant. I can say I actually had a good time! Thank you everyone for going above and beyond and of course for being awesome!!!!!
The staff of nurses (check in back in procedure area and RN) and anastegioligist were wonderful. IV went flawlessly. Check in nurse was great. Felt very comfortable with all staff. All were caring and compassionate. Would highly recommend. Dr. Eddy is a wonderful caring doctor. Really cares for his patients.
Everything went extremely well. Everyone pitched in to get things done and on one person was trying to do it all. There were no long delays and everything was well organized. Certainly looking forward to the next visit in 3 years. Great job.
