I recently had cataract surgery in June, 2025 performed by Dr. Michael Stock at Ideal Eye Surgery. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care I received. From the very first consultation, Dr. Stock took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all my questions, and make me feel comfortable about the upcoming procedure. On the day of surgery, the entire team was professional, kind and reassuring. The procedure was smooth and much easier than I expected. I was amazed at how quickly I noticed the improvement in my vision, it feels like a whole new world has opened up to me. I now have my monovision back with the Light Adjustable Lens. The science behind this lens is incredible. Dr. Wolkart, who does the post op care with these adjustable light lens, took the time to make sure I was at the correct eyesight before he locked these in for me. He did a wonderful job explaining the technology to me. I am so happy not to be wearing glasses for close up or for distance anymore. What stands out most is not only Dr. Stock's skill as a surgeion, but also the compassion and care he showed me throughout the process. I always felt respected, understood and in the very best hands. I am so grateful for my wonderful experince this summer and I would definitely recomment Dr. Stock to anyone in need of cataract surgery.

My eye doctor at Koetting Eye Ctr in Brentwood, MO works with and recommended me to Dr. Michael Stock for my cataract surgery. I saw Stock at the office at 1715 Deer Tracks Trail, Des Peres, MO. The office workers, the eye techs and Dr. Stock couldn’t be more friendly, kind and supportive. Both eye cataract surgeries were done at the Advanced Surgery Ctr in Creve Couer, MO. The staff, nurses, anesthesiologist were very kind, supportive and efficient. My eyes have healed well and I’m seeing better than have in many many years. If I ever need eye surgery again I would diffently go back to Dr. Stock.
