I’m so greatful that Dr. McCoy is in Idaho, well educated, has a tremendous staff and that she’s not only knowledgeable but takes the time to properly care for a patient that is struggling. Worked so hard to obtain education myself and have an incredible job but now dealing with Tramatic Brain Injury due to another medical issue that was not properly handled. Now I really do take the time to find doctors or NPs that are documented as properly educated for their current job and are appreciated by other patients. Now I have a J Tube due to Gastroparesis. I spent a month at Cleveland Clinic trying to be saved, praying I could return to Idaho and have a GI doctor that actually acted like did care about me and understood my medical issues. Yes, I waited months to see Dr. McCoy but the time with a lot of other GI doctors has me now take the time to let others know that Dr. McCooy is outstanding. .

I have been a patient at OGA for almost a decade and have been satisfied with their care. I am always treated very well and given time for a thorough examination and to express any questions or concerns. They are very busy so you need to schedule a bit into the future. I have worked with both Dr. Story and Tish Davis and have appreciated their knowledge and bedside manners.

Highly recommended this practice. Every staff member from the front desk to initial screener to Practitioner was friendly, respectful and professional. There was no wait to check in. I was early and they were able to see me early. The Practitioner listened, was emphatic and knowledgeable and explained everything in terms a layman could understand. A future procedure appointment was quick and easy to make with their on-site scheduler.

I had excellent care at this appt. ftom the minute I walked thru the door until I left. Everything worked like clockwork . People were all friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the NP Leah. Wow. So knowledgable and thorough. She totally included me in decision making, was very easy to talk to, and didn't rush me in any way Very pleasant experience.

Tish Davis who is with Idaho gastroenterology is one of the best-of the PA group I've ever seen. They’re all great, caring. She is kind, caring and takes time to listen to your concerns. She goes back over then hits those bullet points. She makes sure that you understand everything you were told. Everything from going forward for procedures, to just answering the phone to settle you down. She is just top notch. I thank goodness I found her. She is knowledgeable is on a genius level. To make it even better, excellent bed side manner. #1, great sense of humor. Thank you for all of your excellent care.
