Hoping if I post here, someone will call me back. My son had his adenoids out in July 2024. No complaints about that. Dr. Stringham was very nice and took his time with us. I didn’t feel rushed at all, which is rare these days. When I scheduled surgery, I paid a portion of what was due and set up a payment plan for $100/month to pay the balance off. It was MAYBE $500 total so it should have been paid off by the end of the year. I received 2 monthly statements from NW ENT and compared them to make sure they were reflecting the payment of $100 between them, which they did. The second statement showed I still owed a little over $100. It was likely $128. I assumed they’d continue taking the payments out until my balance was zero. I never received another statement and honestly forgot about it, assuming it was taken care of, until the week before Christmas when I received a letter from a debt collector saying NW ENT sent me to collections for $28. Once again, I never received a statement for $28 or any sort of final notice. They just sent it to collections. If they had sent me a statement, I would have verified with them that it wasn’t part of the payment plan and then paid it…I mean come on, it’s $28…I’ve now left 4 voicemails with their billing department over the last month and talked to the receptionist twice, just trying to get an explanation and to verify this is correct because someone clearly dropped the ball here, but no one will call me back. I realize I should have probably paid closer attention to this, that’s on me. But to send someone to collections over $28 without sending any statements showing the balance? That’s absurd.

I am so pleased with the level of care I received from Dr. Kaufman and his entire office staff and surgical center staff. All very professional and compassionate. They made what was routine for them into something they totally understood was not routine to me. There were no silly questions from me; each question was clearly answered so I could understand. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them highly.

Dr Kaufman is very kind and has amazing bedside manners. He walks you through everything you are to expect and will answer all your questions. He reassures you that everything is going to be OK no matter how nervous you are. Sitting waiting to go back for surgery there was a lady in there waiting for her son to wake up from his procedure and Dr Kaufman came out twice just to let her know everything was ok and normal so she was more at ease with her baby boy. I would recommend Dr Kaufman to anyone!

I found the surgery center really well managed. All The staff were friendly and answered each of my questions. I don't have any words to thank Dr. Kauffman. He is really a great surgeon. The way he greets the patients with a big smile instantly increases your confidence level. He also explains all the procedures fully before actually going for it. Anyone who is looking for any ENT procedures, I will highly recommend Dr. Kauffman.
