I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Dr. A. Patel and the staff at Atlanta Hand Specialist. I needed surgery on my thumb and Dr. Patel took the time to explain my diagnoses, treatment options, and the next steps after my surgery, such as therapy. Also, the front desk receptionist, the nurses, and the therapist presented themselves in a positive, professional manner. Each and every one of them was courteous and made my visits very comfortable. The staff is friendly. Dr. Amrish Patel is very knowledgeable and was thorough with the removal of my ganglion cyst. The PT staff has been crucial with my recovery from surgery. Without their knowledge and expertise in physical therapy and the welcoming personality I don't think I wouldve progressed as well with my post op-treatment. Great team, great environment, great staff. Would definitely recommend.

My experience with Atlanta Hand Specialist has been amazing. Dr. Patel, the physical therapists, and the administration staff have all been kind, extremely helpful, and compassionate. I went in with wrist paint, thumb pain, and numbness and tingling in my elbow all on my left side. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, and trigger finger. I had surgery for all 3 issues in the beginning of December and it was very quick. My recovery so far has been wonderful. I am 4 weeks post op and after physical therapy, my strength is improving. I can highly recommend this office if youre having any hand/elbow issues.

Dr. Amrish Patel is the most amazing hand specialist!!!! After having an awful experience with another hand ortho closer to home where my trigger finger actually got worse, I was referred by a sister in Christ to Dr. Amrish Patel. Truly a God send!!!! Driving 3 hours to see him I was immediately at ease when I voiced concerns about needing to get back to activity barrel racing requiring aggressive use of my hand when he said "it is my job to get you back to doing it". He was extremely knowledgeable, performed all test/measures necessary to know exactly what was needed, with the most amazing patient presence. Dr. Amrish Patel literally took me from not being able to use my hand due to trigger finger, to completely normal use and back to barrel racing without issue. Dr. Amrish Patel is the ONLY hand specialist I would go to and recommend him 110% to anyone else looking for honest, talented and caring medical treatment for their hand. Dr Viralkumar Patel is the doctor that I have seen. He performed Carpel Tunnel Surgery in 2012—both hands two weeks apart. Most recently he removed a Digital Mucus Cyst from my little finger and released a trigger finger—both in my right hand. He is very patient and kind and caring. The staff in his office and surgical suite are very knowledgeable and caring. The Physical Therapy at Atlanta Hand Specialist is wonderful. The therapists in PT are knowledgeable as well. I would highly recommend ATLANTA HAND SPECIALISTS.
