I have been seeing Mrs. McDowell for several years. She has always been attentive and very personable. Listens to what you say and always answers any questions . I would highly recommend Mrs. McDowell and the rest of the Alliance staff.-L.O.
I went here for relief from lower back pain from degenerative discs. My first impression was they were more of a legal drug dispenser. I wanted a better treatment than drugs. I got two shots in my back which did absolutely nothing and I have good insurance so they were paid thousands of dollars for these procedures. What a waste of money, time and hope! Everyone but Kelly the NP was very nice there. They say I still owe them money which is unbelievable after seeing what they charged my insurance for these. I would not waste my time if I were you!
I think Miss Kelly that is a nurse practitioner is one of the best. She cares and she listens to how you feel and she recommends what is best. She’s easily to talk to. The staff members are very kind and certainly accommodating I would certainly recommend her as a pain center Alliance, Pain, and spine Peachtree city Thank you guys and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄🍾🥂
I have been using Alliance (Carrollton, GA) location for 2.5 years. Brittney is amazing! Yesterday I went to the Peach Tree City location. Dr. Rosenfield warned me that Kelly McDowell, NP, was not warm and fuzzy as Brittney. I went with an open mind. Ms. McDowell has the absolute WORST bedside manner! She is abrasive, interrupts, (felt heartless), and I knew before I left that would be my last visit to Alliance. I told her that the pain patch that I had been on had really bad side effects (affected my mood, caused pain in my legs and arms, etc.). I was told that was my final option. I will tell you that I have pretty bad depression, and in late July 2025 I had a suicide attempt (didn't touch my pain medication). I was honest and told them about my hospitalization at my next visit. Dr. Rosenfield, of course, took away away my hydrocodone. I do understand. They put me on Belbuca (pain patch) because an overdose is very unlikely. I suffered with the side effects for almost 2 months. I stopped it, but that was my last option. I am not angry about my hydrocodone being taken away. However, I am angry because I explained how the pain patch affected my mood, and yet Ms. McDowell proceeded to get me to go back on the pain patch. For someone like me, medication that can negatively affect my moods, is unsafe. So here I am today, in considerable pain, and out of options. My relationship with Alliance is over. However, if you want a provider, who has a heart, listens, and isn't abrasive or judgmental, drive to Carrollton and see Brittney. She got me through 2.5 years of chronic back pain.
Medically great. Service not so great. Received amazing care for my spinal epidural. The nurses made me feel calm and cared for. But if you need a prescription refilled, a referral made or any follow up, be prepared to have to remind them about everything. For such a large company, you would expect their processes to be more buttoned up. They definitely have room for improvement in that respect. That said, I hope they get it together because I really am impressed with their medical care.
