The front desk check-in staff could be more friendly and welcoming. I was waiting and standing while an intern was being trained extensively. While I understand that training new staff is important, making patients wait during the process is completely unacceptable and inconsiderate. On a previous visit, the same staff member who checked me in today did not even say “good morning.” Patients are often in pain and anxious when they arrive, and a simple smile or greeting would go a long way. I believe Ms. Chiquita could benefit from additional customer service training in this area. That said, I was very happy with Dr. Patel’s consultation . He was professional, attentive, and addressed all my concerns thoroughly.

Dr. Farber saved my life! I'll put it this way ... through my employer we were forced to change insurance coverage. Soon found out that Advanced Urology was not considered in their Network and they wanted me to switch doctors to one of theirs. There was absolutely no way I was leaving Dr Farber. No way.
