Had my hip replaced January 12, by Dr Naylor. Couldn't be happier. The office is run VERY efficiently. They are interested in you and very responsive. It was 3 hrs from the time I checked into the center till I was in the car going home. Inquiries to the staff are answered in a timely fashion. Just can't say enough positive things about Dr Naylor and the practice management in general.

Yesterday, I had a total right knee replacement that was successfully performed by Dr. George Guild and his outstanding staff. The full experience was world-class at each interaction. On my initial consult with Dr. Guild, he identified a bone-on-bone issue with my right knee. I scheduled surgery with him. I was immediately contacted through text messages and e-mails to keep me informed of what they expected from me. I was set up to access Force Therapeutics for pre-op and post-op physical therapy. I will say that I had some initial doubts about this approach, but they were all answered in the first couple of weeks. The application gave me a customized physical therapy exercise plan along with educational videos that were relevant to my condition. This service proved to be extremely valuable and patient-friendly. The day of surgery moved like clockwork. The surgery center is modern, clean, and inviting. We were greeted by a front desk staff that were friendly and efficient in coordinating the requured minimal paperwork. I was called back by an input staff member that was responsible for the routine checks necessary for a surgical procedure. Next, the anesthesiologist came by and described the procedure. I was given a muscle relaxant followed by a spinal injection and nerve block. Both injections were painless. I then went into surgery and the knee replacement was performed by Dr. Guild and staff. I woke up in recovery and given crackers and liquids. I think I was also given my first dose of pain medication, but I may be wrong because I was a little groggy. After a few minutes a member of the physical therapy staff brought me a walker and walked me around the facility for a couple of minutes. She made sure I could walk up and down steps and said I was good to go. The whole time from entry to exit was approximately 5 hours. It would have been 4 hours if not for a patient who had an emergency was placed on the schedule at the last minute. Cumming is extremely fortunate to have a world-class surgical practice in our region. Total Joint Specialists performs more knee and hip surgeries than any physician's group in the US. They are also number one in patient outcomes. I feel like these high ratings are strongly deserved based on the excellent care that I received.

This is the best place in the world for anterior full hip replacement. Dr. DeCook and his entire team (physician assistants, anesthesiologists, etc.) were amazing. I walked out same day (with the help of a walker) and my pain level at the end of 24 hours was less than my pre-op pain level I had had for years! Follow-up from the team has also been phenomenal! The below pics are all day of operation - before, RIGHT BEFORE and 7 hours after (family dinner 2 hours away).
