Sequins and Sales

First time I went in was for a recent eczema flare, but mostly the freckles/moles I’ve had that have changed shape and color. Was most concerned about those on my hands, feet, and neck, but I had to beg her to look at some of them, and she didn’t check the ones on my chest (where I had the most concern). Then she told me I needed to set up a completely separate appt (months out of course) to do a “mole mapping” even though my appt was supposed to be an hour long? Spent maybe 15 min with me after I spent ~2 hours at the office. Called today to try and verify that this second appt I have will be for the “mole mapping” and the on hold line keeps saying I’m number 0 in line and asking if I want a call back when they’re less busy. Why is every doctor’s office now just so unable to care about patients time, energy, MONEY, and HEALTH.

I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment and Marie made sure to fit me in. She always has time to listen to any concerns you have. I’ve had three skin cancers so I go every six months to be checked. She’s the very best.

I didn’t get to the step of coming in. Created my appointment , the lady who assisted me was very short. This interaction lead me to locate a different dermatologist based on my initial interaction. Called this office back to reschedule as I do want to see multiple dermatologist to find the right office for my needs. The male that answered was Rudee. I advise I was calling to reschedule, he continued to say “ with“ before I can finish speaking. I didn’t understand at the moment and he just kept saying “ with, with” I advised I’m not sure and then he became a robot. “ name, dob, your appointment has been canceled “ I didn’t even bother correcting and saying I needed to reschedule. It’s apparent this is not the place for me. Feel like I dodged a bullet.
