My husband just had strabismus surgery at Surgery Center of Weston. This is the most caring, wonderful and professional medical facility I have ever utilized. From check-in to discharge, the care was outstanding. Our doctor, Karen Alvarez, made sure we understood what to expect before, during and after surgery. LaMarsha brought my husband back to the prep area, where we met our surgical team of nurses, anesthesiologist, whose names I unfortunately didn’t get. They were so thorough. After surgery, Dr. Alvarez came out and made sure I understood how to take care of my husband and answered all my questions. After surgery Laura A., a young RN, brought me back to my husband and continued to check on us as my husband came out of anesthesia. She was so personable and caring and spent a lot of time talking with us. An orderly named Jordan helped Laura walk my husband around the floor to make sure he was steady enough to leave for home. Then another orderly, David, got a wheelchair and took us downstairs to our car. Everyone we encountered on staff seemed to genuinely like working with each other and spoke to one another with caring and respect. This facility goes above and beyond taking care of their patients and I can’t thank them or praise them enough.

I just had strabismus surgery yesterday at the surgery center of Weston. All the staff, especially my OR nurse, the admitting nurse and the anesthesiologist were all super kind. They took great care of me and I felt at ease going into the surgery. I felt lucky to be surrounded by them and their uplifting spirits. Of course Dr. Alvarez did an amazing job. I’m so grateful for her and her team. I’m day 1 post op and I feel great, everything is going smoothly. Thanks again for all the attention and care.

Had a surgical procedure and I am very happy. The front desk staff was friendly and the nurses were incredibly comforting and attentive. I am very selective with with service and I am very happy. I highly recommend this place. Seems that the negative reviews are a bit old and the concern is time. They have signs in the office informing patients they could be there up to 3-4 hours.
