Don’t owe even 10$ you’ll be interrogated by the receptionist in front of everyone in the room. I was denied check in to see my Dr, I owed $62 and was denied seeing my Dr. THEN, changed me $25 for not showing up to my appt. They tell you to call financial dept. I was also denied to give my Dr a message over the phone, ( important) because I still owed 34$ The way Fl Ortho is doing business is pretty crappy. Considering finding a new Drs Office.
This was the first time visiting citrus parks office, I always go to Palm Harbor. Really large building very cleaned and orderly. Dr. Grayson had to take nine large vials of blood out of Anthony Condento‘s leg that was very swollen. Anthony has an infection before the second surgery, Dr. Grayson has so much patience and caring for my son. He’s had two knee replacements because of infection that several many surgeries to clean up the Infections. He is a great surgeon with a great bedside manner,. So happy that he is my son‘s surgeon that goes above and beyond and treating him God bless him.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Had 35 visits approved after 2 hip replacement, didn't know the don't roll over to next year,, some one should have told me that information, so the system wasted 750$ of my insurance. Who cares right it's my well being, no loss for them ,wow!!!!!!!!! 100 % unprofessional and ethical wrong, health care is a scam and has un worthy people working for your company.
Doctors and medical staff were fine. I am 9 weeks out from a knee scope with Dr Palumbo. So far so good. I am doing the therapy myself due to the cost of each visit for PT at $75. Trying to do the best I can. Hoping that in time I can fully recover and go for a jog. Right now, impact on the knee still hurts a great deal. Here is the challenge I had/have with them: The billing department. Rosa called me 5 days prior to the surgery and told me after running the surgery through my insurance, the cost would be $1500+. I told here this wasn't right toward the consumer and that I should've gotten a heads up at least a few weeks in order to plan. I told her that I had left messages for them and sent emails trying to gain an estimate however I received no response. She gave me some half ass solution by placing the cost on a payment plan and that she explained the situation to her supervisor and that she agreed with my position. She said that they don't call a month or more out because of deductibles changing etc. I completely understand this but to call a consumer 4-5 days out and ask for $1500+ isn't right. But that's 2025 for ya! Palumbo's office also called 5 days out and asked for their $800+ dollars but the difference is, I knew that was coming because they provided me an estimate 4 weeks prior. I paid this however Florida Blue told me that my portion should have only been a $75 co-pay for a specialist. Anesthesiologist bill just arrived and its in line with expectations. I paid it immediately. $150 which is what was described to me by Florida Blue 3-4 weeks prior to the surgery. Reason for expending a ton of unnecessary energy on this review: I received another bill from FOI surgery center for $1200+. This is just horrible. Another bill after you collected $1500+ and told me that was the amount? Rosa didn't help at all on a subsequent phone call. She is likely under pressure to keep her job and just collect. Now I get a call from someone in Philippines every few weeks asking me to pay. They're not getting another nickel out of me. The healthcare system is so bad in the US. Poor get everything for free, rich can pay and the middle class(me and my family) get the shaft. And FOI-do better with your billing department. The supervisor there that Rosa claims she spoke with must be worthless and cold hearted.
No long wait today. Everything was smooth, even though I was sent for xrays and back and then afterward went to PT to schedule. Each part of the appointment was smooth and hassle free. The doctor gave me ample time to ask questions and was friendly and explained things well.
