I'm grateful to the Doctors, the staff, and the technicians, and feel blessed to have chosen Eye Specialists of Mid Florida for the procedure. Everyone was professional, kind and non judgmental. Was gotten in quickly to see an ophthalmologist about my eyes. I could not see well and they were irritated. I needed a YAG procedure which was taken care of the following week. The staff and doctors were very thorough, professional and efficient. I am well pleased with the outcome. I will return for other eye care needs.

I had multi-focal lenses implanted for cataracts this fall in 2025. This is a top-notch facility, and I felt they were very thorough, low pressure about what lens option the patient wants, and concerned for a great outcome. After the surgeries my eyes were great, but then I developed "secondary cataracts" that caused some hazy, blurred vision. I returned and had YAG laser capsulotomy procedures in both eyes, and now I'm delighted at how crisp and clear my vision is. Their prices are fair and the facility is immaculate. The only downside to this place is a long wait time, but if you accept that it's busy and popular for good reason, you will be glad you waited.

The Center runs like a well oiled machine. Request early check in if you're willing to be there at 7:30 am You will be only able to do that on your first eye, In-N-Out under 2 hours. Second eye will be at the earliest 9:30 am. Mine was 12:15 pm but we were on our way home by 3:15 pm. The great part was I had no discomfort and the staff is very accommodating. Dr Daniel Welsh and Dr Damon Welsh perform hundreds of these procedures a year, and it shows. Dr Damon speaks to every patient prior to your surgery it takes the measurements himself. Everyone working at the center seems to be really proficient at their job. I would like to highly recommend The Eye Surgery and Laser Centers of Mid Florida.
