This place has a serious problem with unexpected bills. I have received three so far. I paid several hundred upfront. Then, I received an additional charge later for the doctor's services. Then I received another charge later for the anesthesia. And now I've been given a third charge for whatever my insurance apparently didn't cover. So, now, my singular endoscopy has cost - not only more than it did with the same insurance at a different surgery center two years ago - but as much as my parents' self-pay for the same procedure. Obviously, this place can't control shoddy insurance coverage, but would it kill you to be more upfront on the bills? Not everyone can just fork over hundreds dollars on four separate occasions for one twenty minute procedure.

From the moment I scheduled my appointment to the day of my procedure, my experience was wonderful. I was scheduled timely. I received follow up messages to confirm my appointment. On the day I my appointment I was pleasantly greeted and taken back after a minimal wait. My nurse Griselda was the best!!!!! She was funny, patient, concerned, and she got my IV in perfectly! The anesthesiologist was great! My doctor, Dr. Shenoy had a perfect bedside manner. All of the staff was pleasant and kind and I have nothing but praise. Thank you for making a not so pleasant colonoscopy as good as it could be!!!!!!

I was not informed that I would get a second charge for a biopsy on my tissues. Letting your patients know this ahead of time would be courteous.

I had my first colonoscopy yesterday with Dr Paul Williamson and I won't go to any other Dr except Dr Paul Williamson. He and the nurses were extremely kind and helpful. Whatever questions I had they were answered they called me 2 weeks prior to the procedure, the weekend before to make sure I didn't have any other questions or concerns. When I got there check in was easy, timing was FANTATIC and the precodure only took 20 minutes. Dr Paul Williamson and his staff were angels 😇 and it was a great experience. The Orange Ave Surgery Center was clean and the staff were all great from the nurse putting in my IV to the one walking me in a wheelchair out to my car. This facility would get from a 1 to a 10 l, 1 being the worst 10 being the best, I give it a 20 because Dr. Williamson graced them with his presences. He cares about his patience and I hope more Doctors can learn by his example. Thank you Dr Williamson and Orange Ave Surgery Center for making my experience like I was in the Penthouse suite of the Ritz Carlton. Patty Wilmoth
