Dr. Grace and her staff have made 2 of my visits easy. Not sure what the other people's bad reviews are for, but from first appt to procedure day they are very caring and thorough in listening and prep instructions. Verbally and physically giving you exactly what needs to be done day before and of. I was treated with kindness and respect and she sat and took the time to answer my loads of questions. Nurses made sure I was comfortable.
Had the joy of experiencing my first endoscopy/colonoscopy today. The staff at Premier Endoscopy Center were nothing short of fantastic and made my first experience very comfortable. Additionally, they stayed right on schedule, which was awesome because I was certainly ready for it to be over and to get some food back in the belly. From beginning to end, I want to give special thanks to: Kaylee Corinne Mona Whitney Louisa Maggie And, of course, Dr. Grace!
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Grace for many years. She has always seemed to be a caring doctor. However, I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I was not allowed to speak with Dr. Grace until I was in the procedure room. When I awoke from the colonoscopy/endoscopy, I had a terrible sore throat. Over the next few days, it started bleeding and swelling. I called the office and was told that I could have an appointment in two weeks! I went to my PCP and was given a steroid pack. I saw an ENT a week later and was told my throat was still swollen but getting better. This should not happen!
I had a colonoscopy yesterday at this facility. This was my third colonoscopy in 13 years, my first two being performed at two different facilities in Minnesota. This experience was better than the first two. I found the staff to be very friendly, informative, and skilled. I waited less than 30 minutes to be taken back once I checked in. Then I was immediately prepped for the procedure. The nurses were caring and very proficient. DR Barrios was friendly explaining the procedure to me, and then came and spoke to me after I awakened. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left was under two hours. A nurse even escorted me out to the car, even though I had a driver with me. The only reason I give four stars is the facility is very dated and in need of an upgrade.
After doing all of the uncomfortable prep for my procedure, waiting in the early morning freezing cold wearing nothing but a flimsy hospital gown, lying on an uncomfortable gurney waiting to be put to sleep… I am told that my blood pressure was too high and I am cancelled! Well duh. Who wouldn’t be nervous? If anyone had told me that this was a possibility I could have taken a dose of hypertension medication before I arrived. I felt very disappointed.
