The reason for the 2 stars is two fold. First, there are zero issues with the medical procedure itself. The issue is my husband waiting for 45 minutes after the procedure without anyone letting me know that he was ready to go home. He walked out of the medical area by himself to find me in the reception area. He had not eaten for 36 hours at this point. None of the staff would check the reception area for him. The second issue was when I discussed this issue with the center Director. There was no acknowledgment nor accountability of this error. Both my husband felt frustrated by the lack of service.
Have had 4 procedures done here over the years. Had EGD last week. Girl at check-in counter perfunctory, just business. Intake nurses were friendly and did a good job. For the first time, the anesthesiologist did not speak to me or review paperwork...strange. And, this is a biggy for me, they didn't even warn me before putting me to sleep. Then, another biggy, I woke up coughing my lungs up. I am quite certain the anesthesiologist wasn't careful, and I aspirated fluids into my lungs during the procedure. That has NEVER happened before. Now, days later, I have a deep persistent cough, and am on antibiotics. Go in healthy, come out sick. Not good. Definitely feels like the business has undergone a change for the worse, as far as conduct of business goes. Change of management? Who knows....but a definite drop in quality of patient care.
I have been there for a colonoscopy and starting in 2009 having neck, low back mid back and sciatic nerve blocks. Acually a variety of very helpful lazer and shots blocks etc. I had been to a number of Drs that couldn't hit my pain areas. Dr Moorthy was the ONLY ONE THAT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL EACH TIME. I have had a multitude of different accidents not caused by myself. And she has helped me lower my pain medication by these shots. Dr Nanavati is a very caring and skilled Gastrointestinal physician. The office there is very good and all nurses and office help have been there for many years and very helpful. Especially when the city goes from a sleepy town to crowded busy town
I had a good experience. I arrived on time and was taken shortly after I arrived. The nurse was so kind because I was uncomfortable with the turnicad she took the time to wrap my arm with a cloth. The doctor talked to every patient after procedure. They gave me juice and told me it helps to wake me and it did.
my spouse had a procedure on 8/19. almost 2 months later, nobody called to follow up, in spite of us calling repeatedly to ask for results. We received a bill from Naples Pathology Associates and will not pay until someone actually follows up.
