The doctor the nurses and the procedure 5 stars. The 4 star rating is because Baptists billing office has billed me 2 previous instances for services covered by my insurance. Today, I was told I could not have the procedure unless I paid a copay of $283.0.immediately. I told the intake representative to call the business office and have someone explain to me why I have this co-pay. The reason was that my supplemental insurance was not listed. This is the third time I am having this procedure in the last 12 months, at this hospital, by the same doctor. Copay $0. Why was my supplemental insurance removed? Baptist Health System either has a breakdown in your billing system, or supplemental insurance is being removed to get more $ than contracted for from insurance companies. I personally, have been reimbursed twice for overpayment. I pay online and used to pay my bill whenever it was posted. Now I wait until I get paper bill as confirmation that I actually owe this amount. This delays your payment. I have been told that some times the bill is posted before insurance reimbursement. That is unacceptable and needs to be looked into. I do all of my healthcare at a Baptist facility because I have confidence in your nurses, doctors and clinical support staff. Your business office, not so much.

Dr. Goyal and his team are very special to me. No matter how many times I’ve seen them, they always treat me with such softness and are so gentle with me. I’m a wuss for pain because I’ve been through lots of it. They make my visits so much nicer and easier to have. I truly appreciate their kindness and their gentle bedside manners.

I give 4 stars because I arrived at 7am sharp but they call me at 730. They made me waste 30 min. unnecessarily. This made me upset because I bother a friend who brought me to the hospital to come very early to be on time. Once I was inside there were a little confusion about my allergies related to the tape I should use. After the procedure at the time to get out to the bed they tried to make me get out in a way was uncomfortable for me at the end finally they help me in the way was better and safe for me. They have to understand not all patients are equal. The procedure itself, the Ablation, was a success. Dr. Akshay Goyal did a very good job. He is a very profesional and careful Dr. I hope that the effect of this procedure will last as much as possible to help me feel relief from my back pain for a long time. Everything ran perfectly. Dr. Yogal’s office called me to schedule the procedure and instructions were clear and to the point. I have had a few Lumbar epeidural injections all via MAC anesthesia and while this was done under moderate sedation the procedure was tolerable and not very painful. The surgery center staff was very efficient and staff was very attentive. I would definitely revisit. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!
