I had a procedure done at Merritt Island Outpatient Surgery Center this past Thursday. I found the place to be very neat and clean. The staff were kind and professional. I appreciated their excellent care, and they made me feel welcomed from the moment I checked in until I checked out. They followed up with a phone call the next day to check and see how I was doing. I would go back there again, if needed. As a retired RN, I know there will be days when things do not go right. However, if the staff maintains a positive and friendly attitude, you can overcome those speed bumps of a bad day. This was my first visit to this surgery center, and when I saw an old nurse friend of mine working there, it made my day. Thank you to the staff who cared for me. I hope I don't have to have another procedure, but if I do, I know where I will go to have it done.

Absolutely horrible now in forcing rules for patients who do not drive and take medical transportation and might or might not have family members or aids that are not by their side they can not have any procedures done for patients that can not deal with high pain tolerance with procedures any injections in a patient back. So all patients now can not have ANY PROCEDURES at THIS PAIN MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST 🖕🖕🖕🖕🤬🤬🤬🤬

We arrived at the facility to be told that my procedure had been pushed back 3 hours. No one had called me. When we returned, I was left in the pre-op area with no way to reach the nursing staff. After waiting 1.5 hours, I asked a person passing by if they could take me to the bathroom. They didn't have basic supplies like 1L saline bags or the gripper socks you are given to keep your feet warm. I received no post-op instructions from the doctor or staff. It was a horrible experience from beginning to end. You cannot contact the facility directly, you are sent to a call center for all questions. I am still attempting to get a copy of my statement so that I can pay my bill. Do NOT use this facility.

Check in was flawless, the nurses and staff were friendly. They called the next day after surgery to see how I was doing. Very professional.

It was a bit confusing at first so many great people trying to help you get ready for surgery . They were very attentive and double checked everything several times and then rechecked again. Dr Guarino was amazing he did my trial I was in an out of the OR in 15 min and home in an hour after that. He was so precise I just ached a little the next day. He doesn’t have much personality but he makes up for it in his experience, knowledge and he understanding. The post op nurse Kat was amazing she was friendly and did even she could to make me feel better. I can’t say enough about Dr Guarino and his staff they all were terrific , I would highly recommend them.
