Dr. James Hlavacek, III is treating my wife, Diane, for fractured left elbow and monitoring two additional prior fractures of left hip and upper arm. His knowledge and extensive trauma experience is a blessing. Dr. Hlavacek had instant rapport with her and his thorough examination and prognosis were well explained. We are fortunate to have him as her orthopedic trauma specialist. Thank you Doctor and for your after hours calls to check on her progress.

I have had three complete joint replacement surgeries in the last 38 months. The best doctors work at Andrew’s.

Dr. Ostrander has operated on me twice. Both times were at the surgery center. The first surgery was left knee replacement. I had pain and lots of it; however, my pain was manageable because of a pain pump, an ice machine that circulated on my knee, and pain medication. My second surgery was a torn rotator cuff and a bicep tendon tear. Again, I had a pain pump and pain medicine. The pain pump worked so well that I did not have to take pain medicine until almost 36 hours after the pain pump was removed. After both surgeries I went home the same day and started physical therapy with 48 hours of the surgery. I have not had any problems, and I would recommend Dr. Ostrander and all of the Andrews Institute doctors, nurses, anesthetists, and support staff to anyone. They are top notch.

I had my 4th shoulder surgery on 2-26-24. I wanted to praise all of the ladies I had contact with from admissions, Miss Evelyn and Miss Jennifer, my pre-op nurse -Lisa and my post-op nurse Miss Kelsey. They were all very sweet, helpful, professional and knowledgeable in their respective areas. If my future shoulder replacement is done her, I hope the experience is as good as this one was. Thank you ladies, you're a blessing to your professions.

I had a total hip replacement done. The entire staff was polite, friendly, and caring, especially Mitzi and Paige. I found the process well organized, efficient, and patient-friendly.
