Called in for a 6AM appointment. By 7:30 I was out with a new eyeball. Great cataract procedure, professional staff, clean environment, great location, and an awesome experience. I wish I had a third eye so I could go back and have a cataract removal procedure done on it, too.

In 9/22/2023 I had a procedure. The staff was great, & it was a good experience. I called billing later that year (2023) regarding questions about bill, I wanted to make sure I paid what was due. They told me I didn't owe anything else and everything was good. They sent out a bill the first bill I received from them 4/07/25 for $87.25 from a procedure on 9/22/23. When I got my computer back from being repaired. I found an email in my junk mail from a collection agency regarding this bill on 4/28/25. I intended on paying it but was taking granddaughter for medical treatment after her wreck and other family matters. I forgot about it honestly. Had a lot on my plate. They can wait about 19 months to me a bill but then they give me less than 30 days before sending it to collections. I paid Destin Surgery Center directly online on 5/7/2025. Destin Surgery center would not talk to me about this since they had referred it to the collection agency which is still calling me after I paid the bill. Not happy about this scenario at all.
