Your doctors and techs are top notch. Your lack of proper staffing to man your phones is abysmal. I tried calling and after 5 minutes on hold I got in my car and drove the 7 miles to the office . I was still on hold as I approached the desk. Absolutely NO EXCUSE fit this. Tell the bean counters we should be treated with MUCH more respect.

2 weeks ago i called and asked to see a doctor because I had a lot of pain in one eye. I was told that per the office manager, since I needed an eye test, I would have to wait until September for an appointment. So frustrating and very poor service. Earlier thos week, while my husband was checking out I asked again if I could get an appointment because I was really in pain. The young lady scheduled me for the very next day! Guess what?!! The doctor found found the problem and prescribed antibiotics!!! I was so releived! I could have saved days of pain if they would have helped me when I called them. I would rate thos a 1 for the first encounter and a 5 for the 2nd encounter.

It was a great visit as always. The staff was very professional and personal. The eye exam With the technician was thorough and professional. Doctor Curry answered all my questions and was very personable. I recommend Delaware Eye Institute for all your eye care needs.

All the staff and Dr. Curry were wonderful. I received no less than 4-5 appointment time reminders . But wasn't seen on time . Matter of fact I was in the office 10 minutes early to be respectful . I wasn't seen until 3:50 then back to the waiting room until 4:24 . Saw the doctor at 4:40 he was done after 10 minutes. And I was out the door at 4:58. My 3:20 appointment started with the drive at 2:40 and ended at 5:24. I was seen by personnel for exactly 25 minutes. From my appointment time at 3:20 to 4:50 , 55 minutes was waiting. You have to be able to stream line this process. I want to reiterate the staff and doctor were engaged and extremely personable. However the disrespect shown to your patients time is really disheartening.

Been a patient for about a decade and this latest annual exam was outstanding. Checking was smooth and quick. Was called back to the waiting area immediately after check in and was taken back for initial part of the exam right on scheduled appointment time. The wait for dilation was short and the consult with Dr Curry was excellent. Findings from the exam were thoroughly and professionally delivered in a way I could understand. Whole experience made me confident in the vision care I’ll receive from Dr Curry and the practice.
