Not a great experience. Our daughter had ear tubes put in at Danbury Surgical Center, our ENT's preferred location. My biggest issue with this center is their incessant billing calls and text messages the week before the procedure. I received no less than 10 calls and text messages, some of which were asking us to prepay for services (our insurance policy does not permit this). Every time, I answered the phone - even if I was in an important work meeting - because I had no way of knowing if the call was a legitimate call to prepare us for our daughter's upcoming procedure, and every time except for once it ended up being someone informing us of our upcoming bill. The center itself is fine, staff was nice, and they got us out of there VERY quickly, likely because it's a surgery factory and they run a tight ship to maximize collecting the cash that they are so fixated on. I would not recommend as I felt like they were significantly more concerned with obtaining payment than they were about my daughter's care and our experience.

My 4 year old daughter had a procedure there and everything went very well, smooth and easy. The staff were all wonderful including the receptionist, house keeping, nurses and doctors. I was surprised how great they all were with my daughter. The nurses and doctors made my daughter feel very safe and very comfortable. They all went above and beyond!!! At first, I was very nervous from all the bad review, but as a health care professional myself, I know that some people complain over the most smallest things and perceive things differently. From this experience, I highly recommend this facility.

I only have good things to say about Danbury Surgical Center, because all the doctors and nurses and technicians, front desk, anesthesiologist, all the staff…I would love to name everyone because they are AMAZING! My daughter had a knee surgery there and they were all so caring and the most absolute loving people, yet very professional. They are happy people that are doing their job with love. I’m so grateful that my daughter was in such a good hands. Thank you a million Danbury Surgical Center.

I just completed a procedure at the surgical center June 2021. I had a very positive experience. All staff were friendly, kind and diligent. It was calm, relaxed in the waiting area. I was not cold and I was provided with a heated blanket anyway. I was scared to even follow through on my procedure given the reviews. I did have to wait about 30-45 minutes for my procedure, but that is to be expected, given the nature of medicine. Hopefully, they will keep up the good work and all patients will have a good experience and outcome.

I regret not overlooking reviews before I became involved with the Danbury Surgical Center. I was not aware of how misleading their surgical process is. Ultimately, I cancelled my surgery procedure the day of, due to numerous miscommunications. The customer service is lacking, not compliant, and rude. I received a call from the scheduler who couldn’t even tell me what time my surgery would be? Doesn’t make sense since I need to arrange transportation. After asking multiple workers about my estimate, I didn’t get an answer. Then, I got a phone call from the billing department demanding payment beforehand over the phone. Understandable, so I made a few financial decisions and was able to pay. I was under the impression I had paid for the complete procedure. The day before surgery they called one of my family members to confirm my absurd surgery bill?? Nothing makes sense here. They failed to communicate a CORRECT estimate before my surgery. I had to cancel the appointment when I arrived and they continued to pressure me to pay. Spoke on the phone with Jackie, and I question her ability to provide clarity. I thought it would be simple to cancel a procedure that I was misled about. Went through many loopholes and confusion. Do not recommend. Save your time and energy, I feel completely drained after dealing with them.
