One of the most clean and nicely laid out hospitals I've been too in a while. I was never lost in the building, perfect signs everywhere. The staff members, doctors, and nurses all exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you have to go to a hospital, this is an excellent place.

I had my hernia repair procedure here in August 2025, and overall, the experience at the surgery center was very positive. The facility itself was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and gave me confidence in the quality of care I would receive. The nursing staff on the day of my surgery — especially Mary, Stephanie, and Connie — were outstanding. I was very nervous going in, and each of them showed kindness, empathy, and genuine support that made a difficult day much easier to handle. Their professionalism and compassion stood out and made a lasting impression. The only area where I experienced frustration was with billing. I was asked to pay a “deposit” up-front despite having a high-deductible plan, and I did not anticipate this requirement. It added stress to an otherwise smooth process. That said, my overall impression of the surgery center itself was excellent. The facility and especially the nursing staff provided a high level of care, and I am grateful for their support during my procedure.

I had an incredible experience at The Surgery Center. Kim and the rest of the staff were comforting, compassionate and competent. I was very anxious when I entered but completely relaxed as I left. Kudos to everyone who cared for me. Herm

The physician/facility side of things was wonderful but billing is a total nightmare. We were told one estimate during surgery which was close to $5500. Then 3 months later a surprise bill with another $1700. They never called us to explain what it was. It wasn't until we came into the second surgery that we were notified it was an error in the estimate and that the coinsurance amount was that much more. They just sent a bill with no explanation. We called in several times throughout the next four months as we expected an overpayment from surgery to be applied to the total balance. The office was not willing to work with us on a smaller payment plan. They wanted close to $300 a month which is detrimental to someone who is on a fixed income. They also received over 50K at that point for both surgeries from insurance and over $6000 from the patient. Now, 4 months later after multiple calls, payments, and the overpayment "awaiting review," we are sent to collections. Your policies need to be changed. Patients should be able to make smaller payment plans. If there is an overpayment and an EOB was sent in, it should not take 3-4 months to process a review for overpayment. If payments are made into the account to bring the balance down, it should stay active and be applied to the amount owed especially if the business office is "reviewing" payments and credits.

I had surgery here yesterday. It was my first surgery and I was very nervous. The nurses here were so competent, kind, and compassionate. A huge shout out to Missy, Wendy, and Tiffany for being such an extraordinary care team. They provided great care and reassurance every step of the way. My anesthesiologist, Dr Schmitz, was fabulous and took every precaution to keep me from experiencing any bad side effects. And, of course, Dr. Garlitz did a wonderful job. I can hardly believe my surgery was just yesterday! Thank you all.
